Thirty years ago, I spent the summer in a beautiful South Carolina resort community called Parris Island. I recommend anyone from California or New York, spend some time there first to decide if they want to relocate to South Carolina.

Do you have a Realtor?
No snow shoveling, well most of the time that's true. I remember waking up in a Courtyard in Columbia on one of my trips to Florida, and there was eight inches of snow on the ground and cars. Most folks weren't going anywhere, but with a four wheel drive Suburban, I had no trouble. Buy a snow shovel just in case. It is a nice state. 😎

Well, thats Columbia. Most of SC doesn't see snow. When I think of SC I think deeper to the low country.
Are you still allowed to say "Merry Christmas" in SC? In most of the Northeast cities, that greeting will often result in an uncomfortable stare from the person greeted!

You speak of SC being red love God, and is conservative like you’re making an excuse, 2°, however coming from California. I can’t wait to experience that because it is absolutely nauseating out here. God, country and guns! !
