I felt like the answers to the work question were for me. J'habite au Dallas, mais j'ai travaillé à l'Indianapolis, au Denver, au Long Beach, au Houston, et maintenant je travaille au Detroit. J'espère qu'un jour je travaillai dans un autre pays.

Yes, if you don't know the person well or you have to show respect, always use vous :)

As I understand it, in Canada they use tu when speaking to a single person even somewhat formally, but in Europe, you should use vous for people with whom you're not very familiar.

I have had a question forever about how to pronounce Bayeux. I thought it was Bayerr, but I’ve heard it pronounced Bayoo, which is how you pronounced jeux; that is, a ”joo". Which is right?

Bayeux would be pronounced like jeu but not like jou. It's hard to know which one you have in mind in a comment ;)
