Love that sheepy blade 🤘🤩 i want to get micarta, ben avoiding in general because of comments on that it holds blood n fluids n bacteria, i dont understand how it could soak in the resin filled micarta, but thats what ive ben reading. Do you have any info that would help out, cause i really want one of your micarta blades,thanks much

​@davidjewell3932 it depends on how the Micarta is finished. Rough/unpolished, and it does hold onto stuff like that. Polished Micarta is essentially a plastic handle. You would never know it was not solid plastic just by feeling it. I don't care about it holding on to blood, dirt, stains, etc, because I clean it off. Ice never had an issue with it. Strength, density, durability, toughness, and grip (unpolished Micarta) are all benefits that Micarta does best. I like G10, but you can't leave it "rough" because it's glass fibers. It's not as brittle as G10/FR4 either.

Artisan has 3 framelocks that have come up since Shot Show that I really like. This was one of them. That tactile knife is perfection, I want that bad boy.

Creat list kind of wish i could have grabbed the psyop but it kills me when you have do dig to unlock it. Love them fix blades as well. Thanks bro nice job

Love the Tactile knife. I saw a vid of it failing the whack test miserably. Have you tested yours?

I need fixed blade and that is too good. I hope I can get one in stock sometime or pre order one. Awesome sheath too, I love when they come with those small Kydex options. Leather is nice but I want a pocket dropper or scout carry.

Have you checked out the new Kansept Havorn? I've been watching for it in a video but haven't seen it yet. If it's done even remotely well I'm buying one. Friggin' *gorgeous* knife.

I like the blade on the BP Custom - but don't think the handle has enough protection for serious work.

It seems to be more of an ergonomic edc type fixie, probably isn't geared towards hard use. Should be more than fine using it for day to day cutting tasks, similar to what you would do with a folder.

What size did you get with the custom. I know he does 2 sizes and I want to get one but idk what size to get. Thanks in advance

Hey bud, the video shows the larger version at 7.25” OAL. I recommend the larger one if ergonomics are more important than compactness, and vice versa. 🤙🙏

Hey Jerad, did Tactile ever fix that jimping on the Chupacabra? They told me I have the updated version, but it still is really hard to disengage the lock.

Love that Baskin. I hear you about the lockbar access, but I’m still interested in this knife. My WE Shuddan is very slim with poor lockbar access too, and while that sucks, it’s not a deal-breaker. I can still close the knife easily with one hand, so I’m not overly fussed. I just turn the knife a little farther towards me, and it’s easy.

It's painful and dangerous. you'll have to grind back. shouldn't have to do that on a $200 knife...

Tactile could have done anything with the Super Lock, but they decided to basically do a cover version of the Vision. So fucking lame. Also, that BP Custom looks so damn good.

I ordered a Chupacabra and I returned it because I couldn’t thumb it, I couldn’t flick it and the lock was so hard I couldn’t open or close it with my fingers. It also had a defect on the tip where the grind got messed up. I bought a Vision FG and have literally not put it down for 7 days. I can’t keep my hands off it l. I’ve spent $200 on several sets of custom scales for it now. It’s my favorite knife and I’m going to buy the Knifecenter S35VN version when it’s in stock. I’m just a random guy on the internet, but that’s my experience and opinion ☺️

I mean the Tactile is going to have the better materials and it's USA made, but the Vision was probs the best knife to come out last year. It'll cost less, you know what you're getting, and Civivi doesn't have the QC issues Tactile has had.

Artisan continues to miss the target - GAVKO great design and the lock access is HORRIBLE. And the Frame lock is sharpish. Awful execution. Hate to see it.

@@7grahamh it's fine for a fidget knife. It's crap for a user . It does not fill a need or ease of use for me. Simple as that.

Gotta say the only knives that actually appeals to me are the real steel pathfinder the volsteed ankylo. I don't like frame lock/liner. The other thing is i like 4in blade. Seems most knife companies just do the same thing. Then pretend it's expensive to make. KZread used to be real reviews. Nowadays it's look what i have its the best (even though ive never carried it and was given it for free). I do like to see innovation but i nolonger believe anything pushed on KZread. Not a hit on you! Just a general opinion on KZread in general. It's now a long commercial for whomever is giving away samples. Like worktuff every KZread person has a few but ive yet to see any in my world. Im not a collector so maybe that's why my opinion is different from many. I don't understand people justifying the prices nowadays. Also have a background as a fabricator and machinists.
