#5 taifun my pick, I am thinking of travelling in helicopter for short distances too cause of the insane city traffic and driver's but the large rotor diameters are a problem cause they can't hit nearby objects in congested areas I think the multiple blades(>2) with shorter diameter can be better for such situations.

On a related note: top 10s really would benefit from a table or chart of measures and metrics that grows over the course of the video and which is displayed, eventually, in toto, filling the screen. Viewers can then do comparisons and view the information in textual form (arguably making it easier to remember). On a related related note: metrics can -- and probably should -- be simultaneously related visually and verbally. So, for gyrocopters, over a static image or line drawing of each aircraft in profile, a horizontal line showing body length and wing/rotor length. Similarly, body width, range, horsepower, top speed, ceiling, etc. can be visually displayed concurrently with video of the craft in operation, and product shots. Each metric for all craft should be on the same scale, so differences in a given measure (e.g. rotor length) are made apparent by how much of the screen width the line occupies. You could even add vertical 'ticks' to show shortest and longest measures, with the 'ticks' moving as minimum and maximum change. Obviously, have the 'ticks' appear for each craft. The 'vital statistics' in graphical form can be held under video being displayed, in barely-perceptible form, and pulled up over the 'action' sequences whenever new information about the craft under consideration is being given. Much of these top 10 videos are about technology. Take the suggestions above and develop your own chops.

Good job I would love almost anyone of these.

Taifun #5 for its power, side by side seating, cabin layout and range of 480 miles gets my vote. The cost is also very reasonable.

my favourite is the number 5 since it fly over 700km distance, pretty nice to fly it in 3 hours as well..

I think the last one / listed as #1 was really cool. I hope it gets into production.

For the last year I've been thinking the Cavalon is my fave gyro, but the Tyfun seems like a winner. Can't say without knowing the price, something you mention on all the others except the one that hasn't gone into production yet.

Any of the side by side versions, No. 5 perhaps. I love autogyros, I would like to have a go in one some day. I've flown in a few fixed wing types and a couple of helos. An auto-gyro looks like a great combination of performance, economy and convenience - plus LOTS of fun!

Excellent video. Some of those birds I have heard of and some of them not. Most of them look very cool. The only one that surprised me was the Trixie Spirit. I didn't think anyone was building a pusher style gyro with that high a thrust line. I wouldn't touch that thing with a ten foot pole!

I've flown as student pilot in the 10-Eclipse and the not represented here, Silverlight Aviation American Ranger. Both are great. The Eclipse is better for cross-country.

9:50 If that's your daily driver, you aren't flying a Gyrocopter!...having said that #6 is the pick for me. Good video guys.

You are beautiful as are all these gyroplanes. Got to get my license and buy one before I get any older. I was in the Air Force and served 2 tours in Vietnam and Thailand during the war and have never gotten flying out of my system. Thank you for a Top Notch video!

I really like the sport copter II. I like the side by side design and it seems really efficient.

I did enjoy the video don`t fly but got lifted when you showed up Cassy that`s a nice smile !

I like #5 and 1 *imagine a jet engine version!! wow!* or 3 or 4 seater. great video..

I'd go with the Cavlon, all weather, cool looks, good speed and range and best value for money.

I'm with you! The Cavalon meets all of my preferences (wish I could afford it).

Good video, one important one is missing -> our premium gyrocopter the Rotorvox ;)

The last one ftw!!! That's something I would like to own..I love how the landing gear is almost invisible,some stealthy skis could be be integrated around them also for water landings..,look like it's from Star Wars...What sort of training is required to operate these? Do you have to be a full blown certified pilot?

thank you for putting the specifications in both SAE and Metric, IE (Miles, lbs, and Kg, and k) for us old codgers...lol

A few quick questions, will all of these run on automobile premium gasoline? The 2 I am familiar with do so I was wondering if all would. Could you fly these at night or in rainstorms if you had instrumentation pilot rating? Lastly, since the rotor gives all of the lift, do bird strikes ever occur with the rotor and can it withstand a bird strike? Since they are slower than a jet I would think birds would have time to get away from it, but you never know. Great video.

I live on a lake so the waterborne one caught my eye. However, I think the floats will really cause it to be much slower than I want. Cool regardless.

These are expensive for me, but cheaper than I expected. A lot of my friends talk about wanting a Ferrari or a Lamborghini but for less money you can get one of these and to me it’s way cooler. I hope I can live long enough to see personal aircraft become more popular. It would be awesome to take my son to school in one
