I expected Carwin to be included as well. Dude was 12-0 and a 100% KO rate until he fought Lesnar, one of the best comebacks and the first time Shane saw a 2nd round. I get it, not all were in the UFC but he did make quite the KO streak

Not saying everyone young is a casual but witnessing Anderson Silva live was the greatest events in martial arts history. The anticipation was second to none. He is the goat and makes legends like Jon Jones or GSP look uncoordinated. He was brilliant. Majestic. The greatest. Glad you had him up on this list he belongs as number1
@Diesel257

Came to say something similar. You can tell how long someone has been watching when they talk about the greatest. I didn't think Anderson was ever going to lose and haven't felt that way about anyone before or since.

Yea, when you watched a Silva fight, you couldn't turn away for a second b/c you knew he was going to pull something godlike out of his pocket and shock the world.

100% yes. It is so difficult to explain to someone who hasn't lived that era what was witnessing Anderson Silva in the flow state. It was like, in some moments, we knew that it was impossible for him to lose, simply impossible, like he has unlocked an extra sense or he was from a different species. I know it may sound silly today these words, but I guess only people who watched Anderson Silva win streak back then would agree with what I said.
The BEAST!
A video suggestion: longest win streak WITHOUT a finish (t/ko or subs). Merab Devashvilli for example
You guys should touch on more UFC records. I feel like UFC records are rarely ever talked about and all my MMA history lovers knows itll be a certified banger
Honorable mentions: Tai Tuivasa, Shane Carwin, Anthony Rumble Johnson

No Shane Carwin... And was expecting 2013's Belfort. Eventhough were only 3. Bisping, Rockhold and Henderson were pretty epic. Specially being Hendo's first ever KO loss.

Hell yeah Thiago Alves! One if my all time favorites. Feels good to see him get some recognition. Dude was the 2nd best welterweight in the world at a time when, unfortunately, GSP ws at his peak.
Hopefully there is a most subs in a row video coming soon.
I clicked on this, just so I could relieve the nostalgia of Chuck Liddell seven fight KO streak
Chuck was the reason I started MMA and then BJJ. Hero!
Glad you put Sergei in there
stiopic im DEAD lmao
Y’all making me wanna go to Home Depot with that intro music.
Love seeing Thiago Alves on the list ❤ he was my first favorite fighter
5:01 The camera man is throwing insults at JDS lol
I suppose losing to dc right in the middle of the run makes it not qualify for a long streak, but rumbles run at light heavyweight was absolutely terrifying. If not for the dc loss in the middle would of been 5 straight kos, against some of the best lhws of all time and definitely worth an honourable mention imo
Just watched the UFC 100 Replay, remembering the concern at the time for GSP with Thiago Alves. What a fight. Also, surprised no Shane Carwin. 1 of His 5 was WEC though, close enough.
Would love these better with more highlights of the fights rather than stillshots

Wow, I'd actually forgotten about Big Frank KOing Blaydes, Cain and JDS
Great video, guys.
Surprised Carwin isn't here
Thanks for the video
Amazing, Costa's kick to Whitaker's jaw just wobbled him. Conor's hook shut off Aldo completely. Not sure anymore what form a true kill shot looks like.
Conor's streak was incredible to watch, but Chuck's 7 ko streak absolutely deserves to be number 1. Watching those fights as they happened was the most fun time in the sport for me. He was just amazing to watch. Damn you Rampage for taking that man's chin away.
Do knockouts through out all organizations...I am just curious how high you would pít Jiří Procházka, 10 ko's in a row through out 3 organizations Is nothing short of amazing
Don Frye should be higher on this list. Beat the best of his time in a ridiculously short time.
Great video
Where is Shane carwin?
