    'Easily'? Nah, Moose was low-key overrated as all of his signature wins were against guys before or past their primes. Whenever he faced an elite fighter in their prime, he always lost. Jacare Souza proved their first fight was a complete fluke. Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker would have beaten him, maybe even Luke Rockhold, we know Chris Weidman was never the same after his loss to Rockhold. Moose may have beaten Bisping, but his performance would not have been impressive.

    Fedor actually had wins over Pedro Rizzo, Jeff Munson, Ricardo Arona, Satoshi Ishi, all champions in MMA organizations. That's 13 champions for FEDOR. And just off the top of my head. Not sure why people say ,( fighters past their prime), Fedor was the same age as all of them. Sometimes older. He was 41 & Frank Mir was 38. He was 32 & Arkowski was 29. He was 29 and Randleman was 29. He was 42 & Sonnen was 40. It goes on like that. He was the same age if not older then most all the guys he fought. He & Big Nog both prime 28.

    Pedro Rizzo holds wins in the ufc over Severn, Coleman, Barnett, Tellingman, Tsyoshi Khonaka, Arlovski, and Rodriguez. Outside the ufc he has wins over Vernon White, Monson x 2, Ken Shamrock. Not counting Vernon because KOTC that's 8 champions. I don't if Eilers, Tellingmsn, or Goodridge ever won titles outside of the states but he best them as well.

    I normally enjoy these lists. This one doesn’t make much sense. We’re counting wins over champs of major organizations but not counting holding one of those belts? I’d argue holding a Pride belt like Wandy or Fedor was way more significant than holding a comparable UFC belt at one point.

    Probably give some consideration to promotion strength and “future” champ especially the latter doesn’t mean too much when it’s so far removed. Same with vacant belts - by definition they didn’t fight a reigning champion to win it. It’s like calling Marquardt a feather in Chael’s cap but Nate lost the unification bout. And as mentioned, in a promotion that folded the next night. That’s much different than knocking off a recently usurped champion in their relative prime from atleast a strong promotion

    I haven't even started watching the video but am stoked for an empirical list that can't be denied! My best guess here would be Overeem with like 8? (Belfort x2, Werdum x2, Lesnar, Mir, Dos Santos, Arlovski?) - He also lost to 6 champs Ngannou, Miocic, Werdum, Shogun x2, Liddell). Holy crap 14 fights against UFC champions ... How about a top 10 of who has lost the most fights to UFC champions, or total fights against UFC champions. THAT will tell you who has literally fought the best :)

  • @miken6824

    @miken6824

    Ok immediately disappointed with #10 as I thought it would only be people who won a UFC title :( ... and that if you beat the same champ twice it would count as two. Learned my lesson though, as even empirical lists can be subjective lol
