    He’s got practical “things” that can be used for many other applications. The Noco GB40 is pretty lit I keep it in the trunk of my car and has jumped my car plenty of times. I learned about the fuel filter. As for the battery tender that to is pretty lit because it keeps the battery topped up. If you ever owned a motorcycle you would know you need to tend it.

I have a regulator on the large tank and then a second regulator at my house. What regulator would I need for the generator to connect off of my existing propane line? It would be great to not have to use small tanks all the time!

Can you explain how to attach and hookup your natural gas conversion adapter and hose? I’ve seen other videos where the man had to hookup the conversion kit to the generator’s carburetor via an adapter plate. So, your explanation sounds like there’s no carb modification?????

    Just bought that inverter yesterday. CAN take an aftermarket kit for NG and propane hook up. Power our entire home (200amp service) backfeeding through a 40 amp welder circuit using the 30 amp 240v outlet. Any lights or light electronics, no problem. You can add any ONE major appliance at the same time. Load management is key if not using a generator switching system, but you get use of everything.

    Nice Video, I let the gas go bad in mine and its a pain to clean out the carb. Its almost impossible to even get off the motor because of a bolt hidden behind the airbox... I got it cleaned out and running great, but noticed that the carb never stops filling with gas even in the "off/storage" setting. So either my petcock is shot or this is a weird design with the plundger on the bottom. I drained all fuel from it to be safe as I dont want gas sitting in the float. When the bowl off the gas would only stop flowing once the float was raised which obviously means it has to have fuel in it. The drain valve just flows continuously... Are you selling the extension piece? if so Im interested!!!

  • @GrenergyTriFuel

    @GrenergyTriFuel

    Hey Adam, sounds like the fuel shut off valve has failed. The rubber seal inside that valve must have broke or the ethanol content in the fuel has dissolved it. If you have warranty I would try to get the whole genset replaced. I haven't had a chance to finish up the exhaust extension, but I'll get to it this summer!

Many complaints that they shut off under substantial, but within specs, loads. Until they get this one correct, the Champion 4650 w/ dual fuel and remote start is the ticket. Just as quiet. Foolish question: would one leave the add-on aluminum drain/fill attachments installed always or only when needed? Do the OEM caps fit onto the new parts? What engines and generators doestge Pred use? Are those components something unique to Harbor Freight?

  • @GrenergyTriFuel

    I don't understand what is "add-on aluminum drain/fill attachments" and what "OEM caps" are you referring to? If your unsure of the names of these parts, I can't really help answer those questions. The engines in all Chinese made generators are China copy Honda engines and it is not unique to Harbor Freight. Same engine used in Champion, Westinghouse, Duromax, Generac, Wen, etc.. they all come from the same two factories in China. Only Honda and Yamaha makes their own engine.

    Why buy a battery tender and a jump start when all one would have to do is use the pull rope to start if and when the battery may be too low in voltage to start it. Once running, the generator will recharge the low battery. Just asking. And when it comes to the spark plug, why throw away the spark plug that come with the generator, when the generator runs fine with the plug it came with.

    I don't understand why anyone would run this dual fuel generator on gasoline instead of propane. Propane can be stored indefinitely. You also have a choice of tank size for propane from really small to very very large. With gasoline, your best option is a 5 gallon can that you have to dump into the fuel tank every time the generator needs fuel versus just swapping hoses with propane. Added bonus, the propane burns cleaner than gasoline so there's less wear and tear on the engine.

  • @GrenergyTriFuel

    @GrenergyTriFuel

    Good question, I've been getting a lot of push back from the other crowds about propane and I believe its simply due to poor product experiences with propane with DIY kits and they assume all propone related items are an issue as well. Currently I'm the only one trying to build a "run's right out of the box" tri-fuel kit that is drill free, cut free, and modification free.

  • @GrenergyTriFuel

    @GrenergyTriFuel

    I appreciate your feedback but I also have to disagree with you about stable. There’s no way around preserving gasoline with how the EPA pushes ethanol mixture along with other additives to reduce emissions. Your experience does not reflect every single person on earth. 1.) For example, you’re forgetting how bad gasoline is in California, or perhaps you’ve never been to California and worked on vehicles there. Just leaving gasoline in the container for 2-3 weeks and you’ll start to see it separate or turn yellow. No amount of stable is going to keep California gas fresh. You can google “California Reformulated Gasoline (CaRFG)” (CaRFG contains special additives and lower levels of certain pollutants like sulfur, benzene, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). However, this formulation can result in lower energy content, lower fuel efficiency, and potentially increased wear and tear on vehicles.) 2.) You’ve also mentioned being an outboard mechanic. The majority of boat owner’s fill gasoline with recreational fuel which does not contain ethanol content or extra additives. So of course you are not going to run into bad gas when servicing any sort of watercraft vehicles. 3.) gasoline with stable gas already been highly discussed and tested by a credible source. Please refer to the link here --> kzread.info/dash/bejne/h6qHwaZtj8-sZbg.htmlsi=KuMLYMGo6oZU5yF1 Everything I post is real info to the best of my knowledge during the 8+ years I’ve had being an experienced ASE certified automotive technician.

A lot of the advise I've given is to be credited from 8+ years of experience in the automotive field. Worked with a ton of master techs with years of knowledge, I respected these guys a lot. As for running gasoline, there's nothing wrong with it unless folks fail to do basic maintenance, its all the same seeing how folks abuse their vehicles and not do any upkeep. In my years working at the dealership, you'll be amazed on what you see come in and wonder how it all still stays together going 70 down the highway. haha

    I actually now enjoy it. Because of that, KZread is organically ranking my videos. I've noticed in my analytics, the more engagement and interactions I get from videos/comment section, my click through rate goes way up and so does my video impressions. So why do I read and respond to all comments? Because these sh*t talking idiots bring in more views that's why. This increases overall traffic to my website resulting in more sales of my Tri-fuel kit. Secondly, I stand behind my videos as much as I stand behind the products I've built. I run a business and I'm not going to stay quiet and let clowns chase out good customers. I don't put up with any BS and my return customers don't appreciate it either. Previously I let people roam free on the comment section and I've ignored most of it, until misinformation and unwanted opinions about LP and NG flooded in. That's when I had a problem. Who else responds to all comments in KZread on a Friday night at 11:30pm? It's no different on Saturday's and Sunday's. I hustle hard and none of my competitors on KZread reach out to their audience the same way I do. I run a good business, I worked hard for it. And I'm going to say whatever I want to say, I've earned it.
