    Pre-pandemic you could find them for $100-$120. Prices on these has gone up but they are still a life saver if you absolutely depend on your generator.

    I would say near zero temps would be bad, but you can use a propane blanket heater.

    Is it feasible you sell on Amazon trough their shipping system? This would make it quite simple to order internationally if setup properly, or are the fees just too steep for you (and with that the price the customer would need to pay)?

  • @GrenergyTriFuel
    @GrenergyTriFuel2 сағат бұрын

    The sellers fee would be 1/3 the cost of the product and I would have to sell it on Amazon for a lot more than my website to cover the sellers fee.

    In case one would also fir a remote shutoff circuit to the generator: Would this be OK with propane, will the delivery system (with the lack of vacuum) stop propane flow, or is it a must to turn off the propane source all the time? By the way: the kit seems great!

  • @GrenergyTriFuel
    @GrenergyTriFuel2 сағат бұрын

    For safety it’s better to shut off the propane. For remote start you can add self priming on to the demand regulator to do so. I’ve had customers do this but I don’t sell any of those components, it’s beyond what I do.

    We have a 3500 we use for power outages in our rural home. It's wired to a box in one bank of the box. We didn't use the microwave but it did keep the lights, internet, fridge, freezer, etc running. When the freezer kicked on, it would draw too much and knock out the power for a split second. Overall, it ran all the essentials for 3 days during a massive snowstorm in 2022. Thinking about upgrading to the 9500. It might be overkill but I'd rather have it than not.

    Holy shat! Just explain it once. If a viewer doesn't understand what you're saying, they can replay the video as many times as it takes for the info to make sense. Stay on topic and make additional videos explaining the differences between generator manufacturers and or regulator types. Link the videos and you will get more views. Or change the title of this video stating that it covers much more than Predator NG conversion. Your information is great, just not focussed.

It’s just purely education rather than entertainment.

    if you have a dual fuel generator (gas/propane), isn't there already a fitting inside the carb for the propane coming from the propane regulator that you could connect to a Y valve and tie one to the existing propane regulator and the other into the natural gas from a natural gas regulator?

  • @GrenergyTriFuel
    @GrenergyTriFuelАй бұрын

    Then you would need to drill a hole into the generator for the fuel input going to the carb. Where my kit just plugs into the existing propane input on the front panel of the generator. No cutting, no drilling, no anything. Just plug and play.

  • @wow1022
    @wow1022Ай бұрын

    @@GrenergyTriFuel yeah that would be preferential, but I don't like the regulator sitting on the ground on the side of the generator, so it still would take drilling into the plastic to mount it anyways, i was actually able to successfully convert my Duromax XP9000IH using the method I described, since the generator already has the fitting in the carburetor for propane there was no need to pull the air box off and install a special fitting, I haven't max load tested it yet, but I was able to successfully start and run a 4 ton Ruud unit with a soft starter on it with natural gas, the unit along with other things running in the house at the time was pulling around 4kW
