    It would help if it was accurate. The smokestack on the temple wasn't a misjudgment of the boom position, He meant to knock the stack over. He misjudged the weight coming down as the load of the stack transferred to the crane. His boom was way overextended to catch it properly.

    If the tree leans... Doesn't really matter much how you do your cut.. It's gonna go where it's leaning. If you want to take down trees like this, you need to tie it to something at the top to stop it from falling in the wrong direction. Even then, you might just find yourself in a situation where whatever you tied it to will just get dragged along if it's not super heavy. Or the rope snaps. Don't cut down trees near your house.. At least not without people filming it.

  • @patricklindahl868

    Or at least start with taking down the branches so the tree can easier lean the right way. Then a rope of course, as mentioned.

  • @Dirtydigger

    @Dirtydigger

    VGA There’s zero truth to what you just said. A skilled tree feller can cut just about any tree and make it fall where he wants it to fall. Unless the tree has grown at a 45degree angle which is unlikely. If the tree is at a 60-70 which is still at more of an angle then 99 percent of natural tree growth even if it grows on a steep embankment the tree will still grow as close to perfectly vertical.

  • @Dirtydigger

    @Dirtydigger

    Жыл бұрын

    And it’s not called falling it’s called felling and tying something off doesn’t do anything other than make it swing around when the rope gets tight and create a greater danger. Theirs a way to use bottle jacks and wedges to fell almost any tree in the direction you intend . If you tie a line to guide the tree it should be connected to a vehicle heavy enough and fast enough to pull the tree before it has a chance to generate momentum in a unwanted direction

    Thank you for taking time to talk with me, my friend. I am so sorry you feel this way, but I believe the word of God takes precedence over man's opinion. I might not be able to dissect it to your liking. But, whether we should take every word literal or allegorical or not. One thing I can tell you. The word of the Lord is alive and powerful. It's life changing. It has transformed my life and put love in my heart for my neighbor. This is what is motivating me to share the word of God with you and the rest of the world. If you don't believe, it will not affect the infallible nature of our God. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; ... (Romans 3:3-4) Don't close the door of your heart to God.'s words. God will only get close to you if you invite him. He will respect your wishes and leave you alone. God is on the outside waiting for an invitation from you I just stop by to remind you that "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. " (Hebrew 9: 27-28) Jesus is knocking at your heart door. Will you let him in? I will be praying for you my friend.

    Tree removal is expensive. I had a tree company take down a 55' water oak. The base of the tree was 5 1/2 feet. The 3 men crew were professional. They cut the tree limbs off and lowered them to the ground. We thought the tree was hollow inside but found out it was solid as a rock. The men worked over 8 hours cutting and putting the huge limbs in the wood chipper. When they finished they raked up all the debris in the yard. I am waiting for the stump grinder man to grind the stump even with the surrounding ground. That job was over $ 4,000 .

When I moved on to something else, I swore I'd never pick up a chainsaw again! When I started cutting cedar, I was praying for that saw to run out of gas so as to have a break without looking like a weakling to the 2 guys I cut with. 2 months later, it was annoying to run out of gas & break my momentum. @@ElementofKindness I realize it's hard to see it ,but he did make a small wedge cut on the lake side...but it was small,and like the original comment says ,it wouldn't have mattered. The tree was leaning towards the cabin,and it also had a limb over the cabin that wouldn't of helped matters. I've cut plenty of big popular trees down that were very close to powerlines and houses...my first real big tree 🌲 was when I was 23 my parents neighbor's tree. I climbed that sucker to the almost top,I miss gauged the top piece I cut off about 5 feet...man those things look smaller when your looking up. Well so 10 feet went crashing down and landed in the yard ,I was extremely lucky the fence was built strong, I was very green at what I was doing. I cut a few more sections down ,my memory of everything is mixed up with my ex just popping by with my son he was still a baby in his rocker carseat,and she wanted to go out that night and leave him with me... I was full of everything from the tree,I had branches and logs all over the place and sap she was just full of perfect timing... My parents were fairly old and a little senile already I really ha no one to help me with the taking care of my baby...she my ex just loved using that against me . Anyway that tree came down real fast after that and all in all no damages were done. And I got paid $100 for my efforts hauled it all away too. 😕

    If it doesn't matter which way the tree falls, bringing down trees is really easy. If it does matter, then definitely get a professional. I've only ever taken down trees where nothing important would get hit if it went the wrong way, and every one but one went the way I wanted. That one that went the wrong way was a good reminder of why I don't offer to bring down any trees where something could be damaged.

  • @aaronm9478

    @aaronm9478

    Жыл бұрын

    Very little of a wind turbine is recyclable--just the metal components. The blades are HUGE and not recyclable and cannot be reused (they go to landfill and do not biodegrade), the housings are often made of non-recyclable materials. They burn like a mfer when the generators seize up because they have plastics and oil and other toxic fluids in there to lubricate. It's not a clean, so-called renewable, energy source, despite it being supposedly "emission-free".
