Ok, a bit off thread here, but I took up the 100 songs offer from Drumeo. I hoped, and there it was. Master of Puppets. I was struggling to get the intro, missing it all the time. After half an hour of using the play loop feature and dialling the speed back and working up steadily I'm now hitting it every time at 90% speed. I still haven't got it to full speed just yet. More work needed. But seriously. I'm in the process of moving house and having to go into rented for a while, so I may not have space for the drum kit. But as soon as I'm settled in the new place properly I'm subscribing fully. It was watching Domino hearing 'Before I Forget' for the first time and making up the drum part (and killing it) that motivated me to look into things with Drumeo more and I found the 100 songs. So, shout out to Domino, you have a new fan 😁

Just got my first electronic drum set having never played drums but some experience with the guitar. It looks so much easier than it is haha I can handle keeping the beat with my hands but when I include my feet it’s like my rhythm just goes all bipolar lol. This video is definitely helpful tho as a complete beginner I didn’t know where to start so this helped out tremendously.

I have to play on my snare drum, 5-Gal bucketas my bass, and Empty Folgers coffee containers as TOMS. Yep I’m a newbie and all I have is a Snare Drum. But I make it work as if it was Keith Moon’s set.

Great start! I started on Folgers Coffee cans myself way back when!! I forgot my snare for rehearsal once and we fixed a 5 gallon bucket to work for my snare. We drummers can definitely make due with what we have for sure. Happy drumming, brother.

Step 3 requires a lot of work: it's probably the tipping point in learning drums. I'd suggest to split it in several sub-parts, even at the cost of some more minutes.
