    This was a great stretching routine! I found a lot of guided stretch videos that are just music and they don’t explain how to do the stretch or why. I appreciate the fact that you explain it as you go. If you’ve ever watched me try to take a dance class you’ll understand why I can’t just copy what the person is doing if they don’t explain it well 😂

    This is the first video of yours that I’ve found but your entire vibe is so wholesome. From the way you explain about dynamic stretches to the way you ask about our run/day to the wholesome dad personality.     I've been a runner for over 10 years but was never great at fitting in a serious post-run stretch. You blew my mind pointing out the mental health benefits! I've realized that I can get better at running not only with training but also being more conscientious about how running fits into my day.     Another great video! We didn't stretch right after our run today bc we had things to do, but we turned this on after a few hours right when we felt the stiffness trying to settle into our bodies.     I always skipped a pre and post run stretch. Or at least just pushed one quickly out. I’m training to run a half marathon at least and I have learned this is crucial. I always would just push through pain or injury and learned listening to your body is key as well. Thanks for this quick videos!

    Thanks Ash! I’ve missed your pre and post run stretches so I used this one as my morning hip mobility routine. I haven’t been running anymore since I found qi gong which I can do indoors. The Fresno heat and pollution motivates me to exercise indoors. Hope your body and mind are doing well! 🫶

    Over the decade or so that I have been training, I have never been as flexible as some of the people who I've trained with, which could be down to their genetics in some very flexible people. I feel that active stretching is more beneficial in the time I have started using it. There was always a sense of taboo about rocking or moving when stretching in my teams for one reason or another but the knowledge you bring to these sessions puts my mind at ease about doing them.     Today was day one of training for a 10k that’s scheduled for 12 weeks away. I don’t know how confident I’ll be in that time, but today I ran a 5k with a 7:10 pace and WOW I didn’t realize how badly I would need this stretch! Thanks for making the video

    Thank you very much ! For context, I might have some sort of ADHD as my focus keeps flowing from different obsessions every now and then… for instance I bought running shoes after spending nights looking at all the models and techs used, just because I wondered how comfy it could be ! I bought a pair, and after my first session I felt very bad, my ankles are weak and my shins were killing me Second session, same old problem After my third I was starting to think I would have to let go this new obsession of mine, once again, having spent money in an useless way… That was until I came across your videos (pre and post run) I just completed my second speed session and I’ve never felt better ! The first time I tried your stretches, I felt significantly better, I was faster during the run and I didn’t hurt after ! Thank you very much 🙏

    Ive been running for about a year now, but just decided I wanted to start to train for a marathon a couple days ago. I’ve been slowly getting better at distance running, can do a 5k relatively easy now, but have been skimping on the stretching for sure (besides when I cross train with barre). This simple series of stretches feel so good, thanks for uploading!!

    Hi Ash! I wanted to tell you. I had my best day running, period today. My best 10k 52:30 , 5k at 25:24.a ll the way down the line. I'm 53 years young, and loving it. I did your pre bed stretches last night, and I think that made all the difference. Those plus your morning stretches put me in the right place. Thank you so much, my friend.     I decided to form my own 75 day wellness challenge to help restore my body over my summer break before college. Just after 8 days of consistent work, I’ve managed to start running in 3:1 minute intervals with minimal discomfort and always made sure to end my runs with this video. I’m proud to say that my flexibility has already drastically improved along with my confidence and overall health-I’m so happy I found your channel because I wouldn’t be this far along already if it wasn’t for your expertise!
