Japan is left driving country due to its traditional culture of Samurai. Samurai is a warrior who always carries a long sword on its left waist. Because they wear sword on their left waist, if they walk on the right side of the road, the sword will hit one another constantly. Thats why they walk on the left side of the road, and this leads to left driving country.

Prior to the American declaration of Independence, everybody drove on the left for the reasons you mentioned. But in America where wagons had no driver's seat, the driver would have to sit on one of the horses, he preferred to sit on the left one so that his right hand could be used to whip the right horse, and by driving on the right-hand side of the road he could get a better view of wagons passing him and avoid collisions. When the French Revolution happened, the new Republic introduced right-hand driving, believing that left-hand driving was associated with the aristocracy. When Napoleon (and later Hitler) started invading everybody he forced the countries he conquered to start driving on the right as well. Then gradually everybody started switching to right-hand driving since everybody else was doing it and they didn't want to cause any accidents. However, Japan being an island country, it didn't really have anything to gain from doing so. Oh, and baseball actually became popular in Japan long before the Second World War - when the country opened itself in the nineteenth century and Westerners were invited to teach them modern science, technology, etc. some of them also taught them how to play their sports. Then one day a team of Japanese students beat a team of Westerners at their own game and it became a media sensation, and then everybody in Japan wanted to play baseball.

Unlike other sports in which you incorporate all of your body skills and traits (e.g rugby or American football, in which you use kicks and hands or anything in that matter), this one is like playing chess in a gym.

Romanians considering Iran to be the greatest threat? Haha. Take this for granted. Probably less than 1% of the romanian population knows something about Iran or what Iran even is. Ask locals about this subject and they will most likely point at Russia.
