No question you are correct. Look, Piaget is relatively respected (the Polo S for instance is a nice watch) but Piaget is certainly NOT part of the Holy Trinity.

Patek Philip is the most coveted one. Even if you have the money, there’s no assurance you can get one instantly

I would like to know why PP is coveted. Personally, I would prefer a Lange anytime.

Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet and Patek Phillipe are the generally accepted “holy trinity” of watches. Piaget, while an excellent brand with pedigree and heritage is not part of the “holy trinity”.

In my opinion, Richard Mille is just hyped up. But as time goes by i guess it will become a legendary brand. History is the thing that gives the brand it's status

I like the fact how H Moser & Cie is never mentioned even by some of the serious watch collectors, let alone other people! For me, this brand is one of the bests with zero marketing gimmick and a unique look

Everyone knows the holy trinity is Rolex (daytona), Audemars Piguet (royal oak) and Patek phillipe (Nautilus). I’ll also accept Vacheron Constantin (overseas)

JLC is not on the list likely for the same reason. I originally was expecting Jacob and JLC but when they said the lowest model had to be more expensive than the Rolex lowest model I realized they may not show up. For me that show there are brands you can get much better value for money than Rolex.

I like your videos but in this you made a lot of mistakes - for instance naming the Piaget as a part of the holy trinity.

Apart from the Holy Trinity gaff, her pronunciation of the Swiss and German makers was pretty good. You can get some of these makers at affordable prices, for instance, I have a watch that although not made by Roger Dubuis (1st on the list) it contains a complication made by him and I paid less than £1,000 for it (used)

Richard Mille watches will be my all-time favorites. But as I'm a son of a big watch collector which has watches of almost every brand you can name, getting a Richard Mille is one of his and mine’s biggest dreams.

Sadequs Haque I do think they generally look good and special, but I can agree some of them are waaay too flashy and even ugly sometimes. Also, I think it’s amazing that a brand which is considered pretty new can become a status symbol so quickly, so I think it’s also about the inspiration I get from the brand.

I'm an Omega lady. If I ever have more to spend, it'll be Jaeger Lecoultre, Vacheron, and A Lange, in that order. Speaker definitely confused Piaget and Audemars Piguet or Patek though I don't care about what is or isn't in the "Holy Trinity". I look at Piaget for more jewelry like Cartier, Harry Winston etc

What determines a good watch is history, pedigree and craftsmanship of top time instruments, not necessarily the expensive pricing. The brands mentioned by Alux are all haute horology which Rolex is no where near to be honest, Rolex is historically a working man's time piece priced at a weeks wage, this is the history of the brand. Due to artificial scarcity by Rolex and watch dealers most Rolex enthusiast misconstrue scarcity with rarity hence paying for an overpriced utilitarian movement. Mass produced hand made watches in the holy trinity format PP VC AP Brands challenging the established holy trinity A' Lange & Shone JLC FP Journe Independent watches were deliberately omitted as they are all high end horology but only makes limited amount of watches annually. Luxury watches massed produced in factories Breguet Piaget IWC Rolex Omega Tudor This is my own take on, this topic would always be subjective as there is no right or wrong format.

Money is all relative. Some make more in an hour than others make in 10 years. Keep grinding Aluxers.

IWC does qualify and they do NOT fit the title, as their lower end watches are over priced at $4K USD and use standard mass produced ETA movements.
