Thank you for the video . The tool i like into des video was radial filter. I signed up for the free course. Would like to learn new techniques. Chao
the luminance tool is my fav - so powerful and amazing! I’m glad you included that tip! I love how much you can change the feel of a photo and really make specific colors pop!
Ace tips! These have already saved me a tonne of time -- especially virtual copies! Loved that one. You're a gentleman for sharing these tips, sir.
I love your tips! I think it's so amazing to create an image with a specific atmosphere in it. When you make an image you feel a vibe and the photo without editing can't always grab that feeling of color and light. By editing I'm always trying to recreate the feeling I had on that specific moment. And just as you say luminance is so powerful! It is my favourite tool.
By far my favorite tool in Lightroom: Hue and Saturation sliders. I have brought so many images to life with just a few (though meticulous) slides.
Loved your tip for getting a straight line with the healing tool! I have recently fallen in love with radial filters and using the individual color channels on the tone curve... I feel like it gives me so much more control over where the focus of the image is.
So today was the first time seeing this page or you. Thank you!!! Love the way you go through editing. I am getting use to the editing process and you just make it look so simple. Definitely going to try your course out.
I really love the HSL feature and the way it can manipulate the image ...how amazingly the technology has advanced
7:05 I literally don't see any difference :D Very great tips though! Thank you!

Just look at the hair and necklace. It does make a difference because it pulls the viewers eyes to a specific point which is her eyes. Thats where the focus in a classic portrait should be

It literally looks the exact same to me ahhaha
my favorite Lightroom feature is the new textures tool. Thank you for your amazing content it has helped me a lot through my photography journey!
Absolutely love the virtual copies function in Lightroom! Easiest way for me to make multiple different edits for one image. 👌
I loved what Lr did with the 4th tip. the radial brush. I have been a Photoshop User, and now with Lightroom I am finding a much less time consuming way to edit. Of course, I will continue to use Adobe Photoshop for hard edits. I enjoy how you teach, even though you go pretty fast. For someone not well-versed in Photo-edit-lingo, it might be a little complex. Thank you for these.
Really useful video. The luminance tool was most useful to me of the ones you focused on.
Great tips! Love the luminance and selecting around the image to bring out detail.
Thank you Photos in Color! Your tip on softening the skin with radial and then sharpening the eyes with the erase brush made my portraits POP! You freaking helped me level up! THANKS MAN!
Luminance is amazing, and I use virtual copies all the time when I have a picture where I want different crops for different paper sizes. I then use the color flagging to identify which image goes to which paper. I might play with the other overlays more after watching this video.

Thanks. No one explain these so easy in a not so boring way.
love the gradient tools
my favourite is the luminance such a powerful tool! Great video Ed!
Fabulous mate, thanks for the video, Bob
THANKS FOR YOUR TIPS BRO...ITS WORKING WELL
I have been going through the Adobe tutorials and none have yet explained the luminance feature the way you just did. I get it now. And this, so far, is my fav!
Really enjoyed this video. I never really used the radial filter tool before since I didn't understand it but thanks to your tip now I do! My favourite part of Lightroom has to be the Vibrance. Winter in England seems to make my photos dull and I'm not a fan of bumping the saturation so Vibrance helps to make some colours pop whilst keeping the skin tones looking natural.
Thx Ed for your really dense tut. As a beginner with LR (after using ZPS or ACDsee) this is a quick and helpful staff for me. Best thing, to take into my workflow, is, you do always mention the shortcuts (keywords) increasing speed editing my photosets. I appreciate them most. Thx.
Very helpful tips. Thank you
Wow these aren’t just Lightroom tips for beginners these are crazy powerful photography tips for anyone. I live them all especially the Lightroom focus tool using the graduated filter.
