Really great information - I began taking the glycinate form of magnesium just recently (at the start of the year I began taking other magnesium supplements after watching another video on magnesium deficiency symptoms). Obviously I was missing enough of this vital mineral given how I feel now as compared to before taking it! The first and immediate change was how I could get to sleep (no mind muttering), how much more relaxed I felt and the disappearance of leg cramps. I have had to be careful of stretching my legs as they would cramp up. As I did further research and learned more about it, I decided to try the glycinate form and now take two 200 mg pills per day (one morning, one evening). The overall sense of emotional balance and inner strength is returning making me feel engaged in life again. Had I realized sooner how life changing this mineral could be, I would have started at least 30 years sooner (now 73). MY thanks for taking the time to make this available so that others may benefit from it also.

I use the powdered Magnesium Glycinate 1250mg (1/2 tsp) once or twice daily. I sprinkle it in my coffee. My coffee has cinnamon, cloves and cocao so don’t notice the magnesium flavor so much. I love it!! I sleep like a baby, am regular and have no stomach problems. I am an active (10,000 steps daily) 74 years old with great labs. My PCP visits with me once a year and says to keep doing whatever I’m doing. I believe in the importance of taking magnesium supplements.

@@tinafarber448 There are dozens of things people eat or drink every day that could lower their blood pressure, but not necessarily by much depending on what else they've been doing. Losing weight and exercise had definitely lowered mine, trumping any dietary changes I had made. I suspect my bp water pill had made me pee out potassium and probably magnesium too. I'm now off of it. I've been on amlodipine besylate since 2006. Some people just have genetically high bp or blood sugar, and can waste a lot of time trying to find that magic supplement that will enable them to go off their medications for good.

Far fewer incidents and even those were an order of less severity that passed far quicker...also aides in other arrhythmia conditions, BP. A real turn around in mitigating those cardiac conditions as well as other benefits as mentioned in this video.

Question for author or anyone. I have watched videos by TC Hale - Kick it Naturally. He states magnesiums are very pro-catabolic meaning they help the body create energy, and one should perhaps take magnesium in morning versus night IF they determine whether their body is in an anabolic or catabolic state. Any thoughts? I have tried various forms of magnesium for long periods of time with no improvement to sleep.

Yes, some people benefit more from magnesium when taken in the morning, while others prefer to take it at night to get better sleep. If magnesium doesn't do the trick for you, maybe this video can help you find the supplement you are looking for: kzread.info/dash/bejne/d4ynsqWrpLifeag.html

LUTEIN AND ZEAXANTHIN usually found together in Eye Support capsules (not tablets!) Dr. Mercola's version also contain ASTAXANTHIN. Serving size ONE capsule a day for eye support. My negative comment comes from the "Other" Ingredients listed under the main ones I mentioned. There is organic tapioca, sucrose, tapioca starch for example. All fine and safe but used to fill up the capsule. Check to see if PROCAPS LABORATORIES (owned by Andrew Lessman) sell eye supplements. His products have no additives, binders or fillers. He is in Nevada, 800-800-1200. I assume you are in the U.S? If in Canada Unfortunately Lessman does not deliver there but Mercola does. I hope this pointed you in the right direction. If you go with any other company be sure it is a capsule (no fillers and binders like in tablets) with the three words I mentioned at the begiining. Best of luck!

There are so many videos now on Magnesium Clycinate being the best form of magnesium. This video also gives you recommendations on dosages. But, I’ve been told your dosage should be based on Elemental Magnesium Glycinate. Some not all bottles tell you how much elemental Magnesium you are getting, like a bottle with say 500 mg Magnesium Glycinate, but, you read the ingredients and it says this 500mg bottle has 90mg of elemental magnesium, and says you can take 1-3 pills per day. I’m hoping someone would explain……

I also have a bottle from Kardish which indicates 200 mgs of mag bisglycinate from mag glycinate and max oxide and qualify it as elemental magnesium. That means both of these reputable companies indicate the dosage of elemental magnesium on the label and qualify it on the back. I think you need to go with the “elemental” comparison otherwise I don’t know how one can compare them foe equivalent dosing
