Been playing socially for 4-5 years now but tip 8 just blows my mind. So smart yet so simple. Now I'm definitely ready to crush my opponents.
Only ever played padel once before, but played in a tournament yesterday. Watched this video beforehand and made it to the final 😂 Lost on a tie-breaker, but your tips worked a treat 👍🏻
Fantastic tips for beginners like me. It never crossed my mind to play the ball to the side into the cage! Gonna try this out at the next session!
👍👍👍I like your tip “play the ball and not the opponent” I’ve never heard in any youtube padel video!!!! Great!

Great video, thank you for the great content!
After not playing paddle again since 1992 and being away from tennis for about 1 year, I encountered an opportunity to play paddle tennis once to twice a week while visiting Las Vegas for a couple of months, and to be continued in Miami next year. I can visualize myself applying all of your tips, or maybe just skipping the Pop Tip #2 to keep the ball in play longer. Thank you for your helpful tips!! 🎾🎾🎾🎾
Some great tips there

Nice initiative! Great work ! Iagree with most of the tips. Nevertheless, 8) misses the point i think. its not about playing in diagonal or parallel, but on securing your position at the net and not permitting open spaces. 9) is more about spaces, moving your oponent and 10) about using the angles, your oponent “opens” for you. if you use these angles wrongly, your oponent gets even more time to counterattack. you should be careful when selecting this shot. a diagonal ball always forces you and your oponent to move and if your oponent is quick or the ball bounced favourably off the fence, he/ she might take advantage of the spaces you have not been able to cover in the meanwhile. Hope to see more great tips in the future! greetings from Spain.

Pls review your nox genius limited edition ... Seems A very good , more power compare to the classic at genius 18k, due to black rubber .. Is it correct ?

Question about tip 1. You reached over the net to slam the ball over the fence at about 2:17 I thought you weren’t allowed to make contact with the ball until it comes on your side, unless it bounces on your side first?
Thanks for this excellent video!! Keep The good job 🤩🤩 It’s amazing how you look like Gordon Ramsey when making gestures while speaking! Best regards from Asuncion!

Quick question on point number 2, the pop out. Is it a legal shot to hit the ball while it is over the opponents side of the court? Its hard to tell where you contact the ball.
@mr_gb2106

The ball must bounce on your side of the court before you are allowed to make contact with the ball on the opponents side of the net. So if you are in the net position and they play a short lob and you pop it out by making contact with the ball on their side then they will get the point. An easy way to avoid this is to be an arm + racket distance away from the net - you can still pop the ball out easily enough from that distance.

@@mr_gb2106 Thought that was the case! Just wanted confirmation. Thanks!
Number 2: pop tip; you're not allowed(!!) to poptopflipflop with your racket OVER the net to hit the ball. Looking at some parts here in the video you do.
whats the best racket for beginners? i play like 2-3 times a month.
Have you ever thought of coming to Italy 😉

Why not just use the old wooden tennis rackets? It would be pretty much the same as padel ball, more fun probably.

ancient tennis players go to padel casual go to padel youngs go to padel women go to padel Padel is the futur accept that : coolest, easier and learn quick compare to tennis. This is undoubtedly the fruit of its success at a time when people demand instant entertainment! bonus : some studies have shown that padel is better for the knee joints because it causes less shock.
