The 620-kilometre unsealed Oodnadatta Track in central South Australia is renowned as one of the country's best outback drives. Rugged, remorseless, and rich in history (the Ghan rail line ran parallel to the Oodnadatta Track until it was moved west in 1980), the Track follows an ancient Aboriginal trail and links the towns of Marree, William Creek, Oodnadatta, and Marla. The latter three have connecting routes to Australia's famous underground opal mining town - Coober Pedy.
In this video we bring you tips for ten great things to do on the Oodnadatta Track from Marree to William Creek, and across to Coober Pedy.
