Hello friends! I'm not really a shawl knitter, but recently I've seen some beautiful shawls that have made me want to start on my first wrap me up, cozy and comfy shawl. Here are a few of my favorites!

Anyone of these in small would look lovely on you and keep you warm!
I am desperate to become a shawl knitter so this was just the best! Thank you for making this video and can’t wait to see your future shawls ❤

So glad it was helpful! We are in it together ☺️
Yay Team Shawl! So many of these are in my wishlist/queue! I’m currently working on a striped half + half in that kit you said liked. My plan is to use it as a little blanket in our house but I would love it if I have enough yarn leftover to make a vertices unite because I think those colors would look fab. Can’t wait to see what you decide 🥰

That sounds like such a lovely idea for your shawl! Thanks for watching ☺️
I love your top. I crochet shawls n ponchos but knit cardigans. I'm experimenting with bright colours and loving it.

So glad you’re enjoying the colors you’re using! That is the best.
I’ve also been getting into shawl making recently! I’m on my second triangle shawl Bajadas which is promising to be big and drapey. I think the vertices united shawl sounds nice. Good luck on your shawl journey 🌿

Thank you Joy!
The Scout shawl looks beautiful. I have knit 2 Inclination Shawls but gave them away as gifts. Like you said, I don’t feel like I have a lot to pair with shawls.

What lovely gifts! Yes, it’s hard for me to figure out.
Such a fun compilation! I only own one big shawl, Nicole Shawl by Aimee. I absolutely love it, both as a large scarf and as a lap blanket. I would really love to make a Recollections Shawl -- the stripes look so satisfying. We have a Vertices and a Scout at the yarn store where I work, and they are absolutely lovely. I tried to knit Humlebi this spring, but unfortunately had to frog it because I struggled so much with the cast on -- it starts at the bottom, with the picot cast on, and I counted my 200+ stitches wrong!!

Oh I love the Nicole! It always looks so cozy one. That’s so good to know about the Hublebi, I would struggle!
Loved all of the patterns you highlighted, and I’m so glad we might be bringing you over to the dark side. 😂 I’ll be casting on Artus by Natasja Hornby in a couple of weeks and I’m excited to play with more color. That said, a lot of my shawls are in my more neutral color palette to make sure that I get the most wear out of them.

Oh my goodness- Artus is gorgeous. I love the idea of having it be more neutral to go with your personal color preferences!
Warm recommendations for the pressed flowers. It's just slightly confusing at the beginning, since it was my first mosaic knit, but it flew off my needles! I want to knit myself all kinds of iterations of the pattern now like mittens and cardigan oh my!

Just stunning 🩶💛💚🤍
Stacy elstone from stress knits has like a thousand color combos of the half and half triangle wrap, that may help you get an idea on if you would like that one! Theres also a few beautiful brioche and half fisherman ribbed shawls from andrea Mowry if you're looking for texture! You can always do texture in neutrals or color in plain texture first before jumping in!

Oh I do love the idea of starting with texture! Thank you for both ideas ☺️
Any of these would be fab, shawls are the most fun knit, and more wearable than I feared. I would say I find a crescent shape, say Briochealicious or Loop easiest to wear, more scarfy/wrap vibes

Thank you! It’s the Ranunculus by Midori Hirose ❤️
I could totally see you wearing a Vertices Unite in earthy soft colors like beige, brown, dusty pink, navy, olive (can't remember how many total colors are used). Selma of Whisk and Purl made a gorgeous striped Half+Half - I'll share her post to you on IG. You cast on all your sts at the beginning so you can really adjust the size as you want but need to decide in the beginning. Mosaic knitting is actually "easier" than stranded colorwork in my opinion! You only knit with one color at a time and slip the stitches you aren't knitting in that round/row. I LOVE talking about color and building color stories and would be happy chatting more if you want to! Take care friend!~Stephanie
