19:35 - From what I understand, the plasma deflector is only going to help against artillery fire. Probably the big deck guns of a bunch of different ship types, and any static plasma things. Bombers aren't plasma, and I don't think gunships are either. And regardless, gunships would be attacking from inside the deflection field most of the time anyway. But, they're great against long range artillery. That's all plasma.

I love this map. Naval, lots of aircraft, amphibious units, some places to build defenses on the islands, but that stuff is easily surprised by amphibious, it's just excellent. Nice on checking the wind risk/average speed, I feel warm and fuzzy because I recommended that :D 31:52 Did the atomic bombs push units away through the water?? It really looks like it. Right side having no counter for submarines, insufficient air defense and nobody rolling a proper navy late-game except Madka really lost the game for them.

That would be cool, but I don't believe that atomic bombs can push units. Maybe I'll do some tests!

@@Cronchychomp I didn't think so either, but some of the units in that shot at 31:50-31:53 seemed to suddenly move VERY quickly away from the blast radius. Maybe they didn't get shoved but I swear that's what I saw.

@@Cronchychomp Yes! They do get shoved! Just watch the health bars of the 2 nearly full health Ducks that are in the water at 31:49. They get moved onto the land and into the shallow water VERY quickly when the nukes are going off. That's so cool, the devs of this game are on another level.

Gotta love the physics engine! That's super neat.

Indeed, the healthbar missing from that sub is a bug.

The resurrection was key for the west. Amazing game.

Damn, this game really does get crazy after a while

So sad if these atomic bombers where Engineer planes helping make Eco and Arty that would have been a beautiful win

It's awesome, this map is the best.

Buccaneer isn't a great name for a ship since that's a seaborne pirate who fights on land.

Because the left side's island is bigger I believe.

Anemic game... but such an apocalyptic ending. Naval battles in TA were always glorious.

The distinct lack of teamplay in this game hurt my very soul

It's a successor to Total Annihilation which was a precursor to Zero-K.

Both use the SpringRTS engine, so they're sibling projects in a way BAR feel really different from Zero-k tho, BAR is closer to TA (it's more like Balanced Annihilation, one of the oldest SpingRTS games if they made some different choices, than the Original TA imo) Zero-k feels really different than most TA inspired Spring games

how to share a unit?

The list of your teammates on the lower right (not visible here because Cronchy is spectating) there are 6 small buttons, I believe they're right of the players names. 3 of them are for sharing energy, metal and units respectively, 3 of them are to request energy, metal and units. To share a unit, you select the unit/units/structures you want to share, then double click the share units button to the player you want to share them with. This is a really strong play when one of your teammates gets to Tier 2 early, they can help their T1 teammates get T2 eco.

I understand the sentiment, but I believe it's value to draw people into the match is more valuable than potential spoilers!

You zoom Innnnnnnn way to deep sometimes.. Great cast but in the future don't over zoom on every topic that you're speaking on.
