Not that much if you learn the other basics first :) powermoves are much harder than a 30 seconds handstand 😃

@@KaioFalcrow compared to flare/ air flare I think U r right, but for me windmill and that stuff is easier than 30 sec free handstand^^ I wonder how U learned handstand, I gotta check out if you have a tutorial how to improve handstand:)

@@MrMakkarone I think the only powermoves that could be easier than a 30 seconds handstand are the backspin, handspin, cricket and turtle. For some people the windmill (for me the windmill was way harder than a 30 seconds handstand haha), it's very subjective. I do recommend learning a good handstand before starting with powermoves because it builds good stability and strength for the shoulders, which is used many moves like Flares, Airflares, Swipes, 1990s and reverse 1990s, Spinning Handstands and even transitions like Windmill to Swipe for example. In my case before learning the handstand I was doing a lot of cartwheels on both sides and variations of it, so the handstand came very spontaneously without really practicing it :)

@@KaioFalcrow uh thats definitely crazy! At the moment I am partly focusing on handstand, because I need and want it bad:) And I thought it's not okay that I am practicing it for two years here and there and cannot hold it free ... so at the moment I am focusing to have a 20 sec hold with clean form, my lower back is making it hard for me, but I am giving my very best and its progressing:) in that point I have to agree with you, it's very subjective, sometimes I think my anatomy wants to annoy me. Anyway, would you think about a video showing some nice exercises/hacks to improve the handstand hold? I would love it!:) I've got some shoulder problems but I purchased your flare tutorial as a birthday present, so I am also looking forward to unlock the flare:) Have a nice night/day!

@@MrMakkarone Oh I see, are you overly flexible? I noticed people with a lot of flexibility can struggle with handstands because their lower back bends more and it's harder for them to keep it stiff. Usually stiffer people or stronger people (especially shoulders, core and back) tend to learn the handstand easier. Probably to learn it faster you have to strengthen your shoulders, core and back. I will make a more advanced guide about it :) And thanks for the purchase and support, let me know how your Flare journey will go! And by the way, if you are practicing Flares, you will probably need to work on tuck planches, that can easily help you and be evolved in handstands! So 1 exercise that will help for 2 moves :P

I’m 37 and been bboying for 20 plus year. I took 8 yrs off when I had my daughter and now getting back into it again. I’m an old power head but I I know I shouldn’t just jump back into it. This is helps a lot. I’m style heavy these day cus my power I never appreciated how hard it was to learn proper foot work. Thank you bros. I’m doing a slow work up to my power again. I know how to train smarter now. And am learning from everyone.

Hi Kaio ! I got a lil question not really related to today video. I've done a pretty good practice yesterday after 2 weeks without any breaking or conditioning (because of work, school, global fatigue and other stuff) but since last night my right wrist (I'm a right handed bboy) hurts pretty much. Do you think it's because of the break I got for two weeks so my wrist lost a bit of strength and it will be alright after some rest and sessions ? Or do you think it's a more in depth problem and I should go to the doctor or anything else ?

  • @KaioFalcrow

It’s hard to tell.. usually when I got some injuries I try to not use the part that hurts or use it very very lightly until the injury goes away. If the injury doesn’t go away by itself / doesn’t get better after some weeks or months or if it get worse I would consider visiting a physiotherapist or a doctor.. this is just how I would do, but it really depends on how much pain you have

@@KaioFalcrow Actually it only hurts when it's fully bent (both sides so it hurts a bit if I put my weight on it). Thanks for your answer I will try to avoid using it for the next few days/weeks while hoping it will be gone quickly !
