For those who don't know Talbots, Kate Spade and Ralph Lauren are the affordable variants of classic style which she is talking about. Brooks Brothers is more expensive but still more affordable than expensive designer clothes.

Congratulations Anna, you've designed a wonderful collection. And super tips for summerwear. There's just one point : wicker baskets might make you too easy a target for pickpockets . You should always try and find one that has at least a button or metal magnet clasp for your safety. Beware when you're among markets or crowds !

@@selectiveoutrage6617 How right you are, and sometimes it irritates one's delicate thigh skin when worn with shorts.

I love the sleeveless look but I’m 59 years old and have loose muscle and skin on my upper arms. Sleeveless is a big NO. It seems exercise (concentrating on upper arms) and diet only take women so far as we age. The triceps area is VERY resistant to toning in females. Rant finished on the sleeveless look (younger ladies - wear it while you can!) Your collection is beautiful and, as always, exudes elegance.

Congratulations Anna for this achievement. You deserve it! I love all the items simple clean lines and elegant. Here in Geneva Switzerland where I live people, being a calvinist culture, people (even though rich) are very humble and dress simple, yet what strikes me is how kind and what manners they have. I also noticed that here they will get out of their way to help you when you dress elegant and show self-respect, and one of the best way to achieve that in summer is indeed what Anna has shown here, wear a nice hat, a beautiful hairstyle, minimal makeup, your signature perfume and last but most importantly your smile, your manners. Being kind always pays off. Communication is only 5% verbal and 95% body language. So be humble ladies and smile even with people you do not know. A humble kind attitude will get you much further in life that being a diva. And the best accessory you can ever wear is your smile.

Clothes made in overseas sweatshops are cheaper because the labor is cheap. Also making thousands of the same item is cheaper instead of a small collection. You are paying for the quality of fabric, workmanship and exclusivity.

This line is fabulous Anna! You nailed it for those of us that love a minimal classic look. All of the staples! Clearly, I’m a lover of linen.

I actually tried on a 200 dollar garment (coat) at Macy's today. I was like oh wow it makes all the difference. It was like my face was glowing, and it looked and felt good.

The problem with a large brim hat is it easily catches the wind. My arm gets tired holding it down in the slightest breeze. I wear medium brim fedoras but sometimes even those can fly off in a stiff breeze.

Hello, if you are worried your hat could fly away you can put a ribbon inside and tie it under your hair. Use ribbon that matches your hair colour the most and it will be less visible. This works for shoulder lenght hair or longer.

I am a little scared of underarm moisture ruining the beautiful linen. Perhaps you can address the issue of maintaining linen in a future video! Underarm moisture, body oils, under collar rings, laundering and garment steaming, etc. For example, should we stitch in cotton pads at the underarm area? Thank you!

They make dress shields that work wonders. Kleinert’s is the best brand that I use under my silk and linen shirts to protect from excess sweat. If you are environmentally conscious and crafty, you can make reusable dress shields for your undergarments.

Look at the numi undershirts, they are an investment, but are so worth it. I wear them under all my silk, linen, and cashmere.

I use a deodorant roll on that blocks sweat! It works amazingly. I definitely recommend getting one. I don’t use it all the time or all year round, just when I know I’m going to need it. You put it on the night before, and the next day wash it off, then there is no sweat! and no, it never made me sweat more in other places lol.
