I just want to say thank you kindly to every one providing such phenomenal suggestions! Its difficult getting started and a bit frustrating in the mall where you're not pleased with most you see so its wonderful to find other options that women with similar tastes have found to be worthwhile and not ridiculously priced. Banana Republic has some great leather bags. No logo. Good quality. Kind price tag. Especially if you can find on sale or second hand online.

Just go to regular store and get something similar. Bags are meant to be worn, become dirty, used and if you get a basic less expensive one, you won’t need to worry about getting robbed

The *suluxs* are really good these days. Especially LV. To be honest, a birkin or a Kelly at the end of the day, is really just a simple bag to make.. so it’s not that hard to make it perfectly like the authentic. I say it’s a win. I own a couple and I’m not ashamed. I’ll save the 20,000 plus per bag and use it for my children and trips instead.

Gorgeous bag selection! Honestly, my subjective opinion- I’d rather buy something hand made by a small unknown business. Often this costs less, can be custom made, and the leather is usually high quality and very thoughtfully chosen. If I’m going to drop over $3000, I’d rather buy a custom saddle for my horse and I.

Even if at the moment I'm unable to afford these bags, my wardrobe looks a lot more elegant even with low budget items. It's all because of your advice. You've definitely influenced and successfully changed my way of thinking about money and people with money. Even my standards for friends have changed. There are definitely female friendships that don't add to my life, but I've been able to find and nurture friendships that are worth it. Managing myself with elegance and propiety got me a job out of the blue because I made a good impression.

@@SecondGreen31 oh yes, 1000% I totally get it. I was just pointing out how adorable and feminine is that she gets happy and giggly despite that her net worth is in the millions.

My aunt could afford whatever she wanted and she LOVED Aigner. That is all she would carry. There was not even one place where people didn't ask about her bags. Now she did have quite a few lol so the price may have added up.

Aigner was VERY popular in the late 70s early 80s …especially for the popular double wrap around belts…and especially in the South It was popular like Coach later on

The reality is: if you're rich and famous, your *hotdups* bags are seen as a sign of success. If you are just an ordinary worker working a 9-to-5 job, your real bag is likely to be considered the fruit of your efforts.

I'm a little surprised a Lady Dior Bag did not make your list of top 10, or at least an honourable mention. Classic, elegant, timeless and feminine, are all words that would describe the Lady Dior. I have admired it since I was a little girl and has been on my 'must-have-most-coveted' list ever since.

I second Longchamp products! Excellent craftsmanship, holds its shape brilliantly after years of daily usage, very discreet branding yet everyone can tell it’s a high quality bag, and should any stitching come undone they’ll patch it up for free.

The Hermes Garden Party is the perfect everyday bag and travel tote for me. Love the design and I have had it and worn it for 10 years and it does not show wear and tear. The YSL Sac Du Jour Medium is also perfect for me when I take it to work but now after this video, I'll get the nano size because it's perfect for day to night bag. Really appreciated how you identified reasonably affordable luxury bags that are subtle, I personally dislike logos and find it so difficult to find such items so this was really enaging, educational, and great to see - would love more like this - still hoping for luxury makeup, perfume, skincare line/product reviews!

Love the Hermès bag too ! Nice supple leather, simple and practical

The Sac de Jour from YSL really caught my eye! Especially the pink one. It looks very beautiful and sophisticated!

Other than the Gucci Jackie O bag, which I love, and perhaps the Hermes Herbag (which is very expensive for a canvas bag), the other bags all have a similar, boxy, uninspiring silhouette, usually carried by old ladies. 😅 And some have an open top without a zip that is not secure enough for keeping personal belongings safe.

The Capucine is my favorite of the bunch!

I am obsessed with Sac De Jour bags. A timeless fave.

I love the Alaia! I think that’s such a great summer bag. I like to match my shoes to my bag, and that one would match my favorite summer sandals. I’ve toyed with getting a Jackie before, because I do think it fills a gap in the market. I love the sac du jour but I always thought it was a bit heavy. I think the nano is a great option because it’s probably a lot lighter.
