I've been watching your videos and must say that it has helped me in every aspect of my driving. I think one of the reasons I passed my driving test first time was because of watching these videos made me feel confident. These videos have really taught me a lot. They are in detail and covers every subject of driving. Thank you very much
Thank you for this! The tip about braking or changing gears on corners is something I knew not to do but I didn’t know why, so that actually really helped me 😊
Thanks .Your channel has really helped me to become a good driver 🙏.
Thank you from Andalusia, Spain. Very helpful, though I am distracted by the green country roads and pretty, little village streets of the UK in this video!
I haven't been driving for over ten years and getting back into it. This was helpful. Apart from the fact you are driving in the wrong side of the road :D

this is the best channel for car driving by far. Please consider my little motivation and keep the energy on.....Thanks for Introducing responsible drivers to the world. Kudos from India.
Thanks for the video! There's very good information provided in the video, especially not braking while turning on corners.
One of the best channels I have ever seen. Always answer our questions . I love that. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Some are common sense, others were nice to learn. Nice town, too
Excellent video. Everything done hands-on so it can be done visually instead of reading a handbook. If only some Irish drivers could follow this example, there would be fewer accidents on our roads. By the way, could you please send me a link for learning how to read other motorists body language when driving? Gregory Tobin

Wow that guy with his dog crossed the road without even looking. Defensive driving was his saviour he didn't even know it
Excellent video as always. Please don't take this the wrong way and perhaps it's jus the my perception but: 1. At around 1:46 when your instructor pulled away, did he actually also perform an over the shoulder check for blind spot? 2. At around 1:53, was it neccassary for the instructor to keep his hand on the gear lever for several seconds before changing gear? Could he have kept his left hand on the steering wheel longer and only moving it to the gear lever when ready to actually change gear, then immediately move his hand back to the steering wheel, thus minimizing the time with one handed steering?

Thanks for your comment. The clip you mention was taken from another video, and if you click this link kzread.info/dash/bejne/pH-lxqilqqyyisY.html you can see that the blind spots were checked - but to save a little time on this video they weren't shown. At low speed there is no problem controlling the car with one hand - but once up to speed we try to use both hands wherever possible. 👍🏼

i have a test today please pray i pass as i have failed more than anyone else
#2 is really very important.. but no one is considering it.. nice content team thank you very much..
I only took my lessons for about 6 mths and not even every week last year then had tp stop in march 2020. We Also had a local lockdown leicester and iI had one lesson in October before we had another National lockdown in November. I am going to start my lessons again in May and my instructorwho has asked me to study again like I a beginner, so I am going to re-study the theory test even though I have passed it. Are there any other tips you can give to me as a learner driving taking lessons again after a long time. i always find all your videos very helpful. thanks Hina

Please could you help me with a roundabout question? My driving instructor doesn't seem to know and it is very frustrating. Here is an image imgur.com/a/DbQWiee. If I approach from 8 o clock and want to go 6 o clock. I could use the right hand lane but that would spit me out onto the overtaking lane when leaving the roundabout. Am I allowed to use the middle lane to go right even though it only has a forward arrow?
@AdvanceDrivingSchool
4 жыл бұрын
We would normally use the right lane on approach, and then change to the outer lane once our exit is next, so that we leave onto the left lane of the new road.
@tom56ize
4 жыл бұрын
@@AdvanceDrivingSchool I see, thank you! It is just I was always taught to try and avoid changing lanes on a big roundabout haha. What threw me off was that when you come from 11 o' clock going straight on 4 o'clock you can just go straight into the left lane.
@AdvanceDrivingSchool
4 жыл бұрын
If we find a spiral roundabout, then we can just follow one lane right to our exit - but on a normal roundabout we still need to change lanes for ourselves. The safest thing to do is obey any road markings, as they make our intentions clear to other road users. 👍🏼

@AdvanceDrivingSchool

In theory you could, but we probably wouldn't want to, so that we have more control over the car's speed. Perhaps it depends on the type of road you are on, and how bad the conditions are.

@@AdvanceDrivingSchool what if it's a wet road
@AdvanceDrivingSchool

As long as there is no standing water then we should be fine. If we were to aquaplane then the car's traction and electronic stability control would react faster than we could in any case, so it's no problem to use cruise control in our opinion.
Not just for new drivers, I'm using these videos as a refreshing tool as I haven't driven in 6years and about to start again.
