I love these programs about dog that have been rescued and found to be helpers to their people. I rescued a dog with a rough background in 2010. Three years later TODAY our girl is not only our emotional support dog she saved us from a potential fire when she "alerted" me to a loud noise that ended up being a dehumidifer that was overheating and too hot to touch. She also helps me cope with my husbands cognitive decline as I am his sole caretaker. Ginger is smart, loving, loyal and protective. She is a daily joy to us both!

Holy cow, three years of training for a guide dog. Now I know why specially-trained and service dogs cost so much. Much regard for the people who train them.

So surpsied this doesnt have more views. Pretty well made for a "ten things" listacle video. Remarkable how dogs have continually come to our aid over thousands of years
