There ISN'T any true form darkseid. Lots of writers try to add an element to a character, as grant morrison did. It never took root. DC ignored it. Hasn't been referenced and has actually been refuted by subsequent storylines. This idea only grew because of online debates. If it's repeated enough on the internet, it's tough to get rid of.

@@variant , hello, you forgot these villains, or make it top 11 or top 12? ++ Monarch, he already blasted superboy prime with nuke (maybe like hiroshima). ++ Injustice Superman, if not mistaken, he killed Kallibak, then fought Darkseid but not killed him.

I hope people know Darkseid has two forms. The guy everybody fights is just the Avatar of Darkseid. True Darkseid is way more powerful.

@mr.dccomics9018 dark crisis disproves your theory. The first crisis he fell in the God sphere so yes he's as big as the multiverse because he was on apocalypse. If superman goes through a boom tube to apocalypse he's the same size as darkseid. That has since been retconed with new origin of darkseid and the new gods... yes 2 different orginins and infinate crisis darkseid had to be amped up to even compete with the anti-moniter... daekseid still lost and died grail had to get him to absorb old gods to restore his power.... again still no proof of true form darkseid you know the one who lost to doomsday on apocalypse 😂.

I thought Darkseid was more of an intangible concept.

No. The whole "true form" darkseid thing ISNT a thing. Grant morrison tried out that concept ONCE. DC never adopted it. It was forgotten, ignored and only kept alive by fanboys in online debates. There is one darkseid. That's all. That's it.

​@@Geralddd966 For real, I think the most powerful iteration of Trigon might just be the one that fights Darkseid on Apokalips in the last New 52 Justice League: Dark animated movie, and even then they leave it ambiguous as to whether Trigon or that Avatar of Darkseid would be the winner

My Top 5 DC Villains who can beat Darkseid are The One who laughs, Yuga Khan(His Dad), Trigon, The Anti-Monitor, and Doomsday(Who knocked him out on his debut). Honorable Mentions: Imperiex, Perpetua, Superboy Prime, Nekron, Also, I saw what you did with The Rock slapping Cody Rhodes, which hypes me up for WrestleMania 40 even more.

Doomsday actually smashed Darkseid in 1994’s Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey mini series. I’m surprised it was not mentioned in the Doomsday section.

Have you not been paying attention? Perpetua had a darkside she controled. Also the great darkness clearly said darkseid is nothing more but an avatar of his power. So darkseid is the avatar he does not have avatars. Also darkseid lives in the fourth dimension ​where everything is bigger, including Superman when he uses boomtubes. Similar to all everyone got it from God wave. Perpetual created multiverse, right .but daekseid wasnt effected by crisis because he outside the multiverse. .

Am I the only one who would be terrified to live in the DC universe where it seems everyone is capable of killing the justice league easily

I don't know if anybody else is mentioned it in the comments. But the 1st thing that I noticed when I watched this video. Is that you included doomsday. But you didn't include the story line Doomsday hunter Where 1 of the 1st things that happened in the 1st issue I believe was doomsday almost killing darkside. I was a kid when that book came out and I read it several times over again. That moment still shocked me.

And it took a mother box to bring him back to life LOL And on a side note. I was kind of annoyed with writer Artist Jergens for how he portrayed Superman in those books. Because he ignored the fact that's Superman had a great power upgrade too. Because after he was resurrected. His powers are growing even a little bit out of his control. At that time I thought that he should have given doomsday more of a run for his money

Ummmmm.... Did you not read Superman/Doomsday: Hunter/Prey? In that one, Darkseid had to get Superman's help after Doomsday survived Darkseid's Omega Beams and tore into him.

Can't agree with this list who would defeat Darkseid, Avatars of Darkseid may be, but true form is much more powerful. Only few few mentioned in the list have the power to go toe to toe with Darkseid and defeat him.

Actually, in a miniseries called "Hunter's prey" Doomsday arrived to Apokolips... and cleaned the floor with Darkseid, left him dying, but Superman arrived and with the help of Waverider they managed to save him.
