10 Critical Signs that Indicates Your Dog is Dying

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

Losing a dog would probably be the worst nightmare come to life for many pet owners.
In this video, we will talk about 10 critical signs that indicate your dog is going to die.
00:00 - Introduction
00:28 - Signs Your Dog is Dying
6:29 - Saying Farewell
Incontinence
Dogs often lose control of their bladder or bowls as they age.
Some dogs may poop or pee in their sleep, while others may dribble urine as they walk without seeming to notice. Loss of bladder or bowl control can be upsetting for our canines because they naturally don't want to soil the house.
Your dog doesn’t want to go outside
As a dog nears death, they will become less mobile. Their legs may start giving out and the pooch may even stop wanting to go out for walks.
It will gradually progress to not being able to jump on the couch, struggling with stairs or slippery floors, and having trouble getting up after a nap.
You can help your canine by making sure their water and food bowls are easily accessible.
Loss of Interest
When a dog nears the end of their lifespan, they can begin to lose interest in the world around them, and they may stop caring about the things they normally busied themselves with.
Their favorite toys will gather dust, and they may no longer have the energy to jump up to greet you at the door, or wag their tail when you tease them with a favorite toy. This is because your dog is likely to feel more tired than usual, and it may also be painful for them to move around too much.
Social Detachment
Some dogs may become clingier when they near the end of their lifespan.
However, most dogs seek out solitude and separate themselves from the family instead of seeking comfort. They may hide somewhere, or move to a secluded corner of your home, and seem way less social than usual.
In fact, it isn’t uncommon for dogs to go under beds before they die and hide there.
Odd Breathing
When a dog is very close to death, their normal bodily functions may begin to shut down. This can cause them to breathe in an odd way.
Your dog’s breathing may be very fast or very slow. They may also simply have to work hard to move air in and out. They may breathe heavier or deeper than usual. More often than not, this is one of the last signs that develops when a dog is dying.
Right before their death, dogs will exhale one last big breath.
Loss of Appetite
Lack of appetite is common at the end of life. Your dog may start eating less and may have a hard time finishing their daily portion. A reduced appetite may also be a consequence of certain cancer treatments or terminal illnesses.
Healthy dogs want nothing more than some yummy treats. But when a dog nears the end of their lifespan, even the tastiest treat won't be interesting to them.
This is because their organs are starting to shut down, and your pet doesn't feel the need to drink or eat.
Weight Loss
As a consequence of not eating enough, you will notice a decrease in your dog's weight. But weight loss can also be commonly seen in senior dogs, and it will start well before the end of life. This is because as dogs get older, their body becomes less efficient at digesting protein.
Drastic weight loss can also be indication that your dog is suffering from cancer.
Behavioral Changes
As you might expect, your beloved pet probably isn’t feeling their best in the end of their lifespan. They could be in pain, sick, uncomfortable, and going through a lot of changes all at once. This can lead to them behaving differently, becoming irritable, growling or snapping at you when they would never do that before. Just like people get cranky when they are in pain, your canine will have the same reaction.
Reduced Body Temperature
As things progress and death inevitably approaches, your dog’s body cools down and they lose the ability to control their own body temperature. Owners often notice cold paws and cooler breath.
Their Gums Change Color
If your dog’s organs are no longer functioning properly, their gums may change color.
Blue gums can indicate that there’s not enough oxygen in a dog’s blood.
Bright red gums can be a sign of heatstroke. White or pale gums can be a sign of blood loss. However, each of these colors could also be a sign that a dog is close to death.
As your dog is preparing to cross the rainbow bridge, the time you have left with them is as precious as it is limited.
It's important to remember that if the dog is suffering from a lot of pain, assessing the option of euthanasia is humane.
If your dog hates going to the vet, look into at-home pet euthanasia services to provide a peaceful end-of-life experience for your beloved pooch.
Another tough decision is what to do with the body of the animal. Some owners make arrangements for their dog's cremation or burial.
Many vet clinics or animal funeral homes offer these services.
Alternatively, if you want to keep your dog close to your home, as well as your heart, you can choose to bury them in your own property or backyard.

My dog lived to 18. We knew he wasn’t doing well and that The end was near. I woke up in the middle of the night and found him under my bed which he never did before. I put him back in bed with me and within an hour or two he laid next to me and passed. They deserve to live longer than most humans.

35 years, and I still get heavy in the chest when I think about the day I lost my childhood friend. That poor old boy. I could never bear to have another, partly because I am as loyal to him as he was to me, and partly because I just can't face that last day, ever again.

@@StarinTx usually the sign are when they basically stop eating and drinking. Basically with a older dog when they stop eating and drinking then it is time to go. I had a cat that had kidney failure and he keep eating but when he stopped and I bought him to the Vat she said he would not make it more then a few very painful days. The choice was easy. The key is not to let your pet suffer because you do not have the courage to do the right thing at the end. Sometime the animal has a health problem that because of there age they will never make though surgery. Unfortunally this is part of pet ownership. I tend to rescue older pet so I have been though the process a lot more then I wish to.

I also saw the parts where it talks about nonsense such as witches, whales being fish, and bats being birds, talking donkeys, snakes, and unicorns to mention but a few. Then there's all the self-contradiction and just plain wrongness. @@mitchellkent1815 “The god of the bible?” -Yes, the God of the Bible. “Because I’ve read the bible.” -Have you? Because if you’ve actually read the Bible, you understood not a single word of it in its proper context. “…gives instruction on how to own and beat slaves…” -Interesting 🧐, because no such “instructions” exist per voluntary servitude. But I am curious as to which historical stories, chapters, and verses you decontextualize to assert this lie? Please, share them, that I may educate you on what the Bible actually, and accurately teaches. I’m assuming we should start at the beginning with an understanding behind voluntary and involuntary servitude, the instructions behind such servitude, and why it was enacted. But I’ll need your decontextualized verses first. I’m confident I already know which ones you’ll use, but let’s hear them from you. “…murder vanquished neighbors…” -Let’s see some verses posted already, or are you afraid I will put them in their proper context? I assume you are going to argue that conquest in the Bible is immoral? But before you do, please tell me how you justify morality from an atheist worldview? I will first need the non-existent atheistic standard for morality to properly judge God’s moral law, and determine where He went wrong. Clearly your moral law is superior. So, without borrowing from the Bible, please share with me YOUR moral law. “…and other unpleasant acts.” -By all means, define what you mean by these “unpleasant acts” without using God’s moral law for your terms. I just can’t seem to logically grasp why atheists keep using “right,” or “wrong” when they have no justification for an absolute standard for morality? In other words, don’t borrow from biblical morality to attack biblical morality. Let’s remain consistent, shall we? I want to know where you get your authority from, and why from your worldview, conquest is wrong? In your worldview, morality doesn’t exist, there is no “right or wrong,” there’s only specks of star dust interacting with each other. Thereby, what has God done that is “ungodly” of Him? “Witches” -In which context? The pagan occult which still exists today, e.g., Satanic witchcraft? Gotta know, so we can discuss in context. “Whales being fish” -I’d certainly like to see where you got this one from. I’m assuming this has to be about the story of Jonah? Are you saying that the Bible says whales and fish are the same thing? Are you saying that it was a whale that swallowed Jonah, not a large fish, like Leedsichthys-a creature you’d consider as a “living fossil”? Lots we could discuss here. “Bats being birds” -Again, let’s see those verses. Can’t help you if we can’t establish context. “…talking donkeys, snakes, and unicorns…” -God lacks the power to open the mouth of a donkey? Satan cannot possess and represent the serpent? Rhinoceros (unicorns) don’t exist? (This 👉🏻 🦏, not this 👉🏻🦄.) Are you putting limitations on God’s power just because you lack understanding, think something to be impossible or ridiculous or mythological? Do you know what the serpent looked like in the Garden of Eden, how it was different then, how it was “possessable”? Were you there? Did you create the serpent? How do you know? Please, tell me. “Then there’s all the self-contradiction and just plain wrongness…” -Which supposed contradictions? I’d be stoked to discuss each one in depth with you. But I wonder how many other Christians have discussed with you these supposed contradictions before, and you’ve ignored them…🤔. And again, in your worldview, how does one define “wrongness,” or on the contrary, “rightness.” Atheists do not possess a moral compass, your worldview does not allow for morality, it only allows for survivability (assuming you’re an atheist/evolutionist). And I’m making that assumption because most atheists are evolutionists. This is so they don’t contradict themselves further by denying some form of causation, so instead they rely entirely on evolution/millions-of-years. It is legitimately their god, the god of self, the worship of man and man’s ideas. “…that’s been through several translations…” -You wouldn’t be devout if you didn’t include this criticism of scripture. Attacking its legitimacy and authenticity is the most common attack on the Bible in all of history, and it’s never worked. Want to know why? Would you like to know how we know the scriptures have remained unchanged since they were originally written? Would you like to know their origin? You see, I doubt you want to know any of this, because you don’t even know what you mean my “translations.” The truth is, you aren’t looking for answers, you’re looking for victims. You’re an opportunistic militant atheist who gets triggered every time he sees God mentioned, and you thought this would be like many other times where you felt vindicated after pouncing on your unsuspecting Christian prey. But you weren’t expecting someone like me, were you? You were expecting your usual prey, i.e., some young, naïve, inexperienced Christian that you could attack with your typical, overused, easily debunked, extremely outdated atheist arguments, and then declare yourself another “victory.” Each “pesky Christian” you defeat gives you a sense of superiority, and reinforces your unbelief and hatred of the Biblical God. After all, it’s easier to dismiss that which you do not understand, and are unwilling to learn. If I had to guess, you’re in your early to mid 20’s, maybe attended university where your indoctrination was solidified, are a devout atheist, believe evolution as your man-made god, pride yourself as a militant atheist, adhere strongly to radical Leftist ideology, etc. I’ll conclude with this, if it weren’t for people like you, I’d still be one of those uninformed believers. I have countless debates with arrogant anti-theists like you to thank for my apologetics skills. 😉

my black lab was named "shadow" for a reason, he was always just behind me and if I stopped suddenly, would run into me. He lived to 17. I had to put him down due to spinal arthritis as he hurt so much and couldn't hardly walk. Those last few weeks, he stayed away from me and slept in the back room. I had put down a memory foam mattress for him since he couldn't get in the bed anymore. He slept in the bed for almost 17 years. He had never been away from me or anyone visiting in all those years, until near the end. Me and my parents were there for him at the end, I held him in my arms as the vet gave him the shots. I have never cried so hard for any loss in my life. He was my son and it has been 12 years since his death and I still miss him. I have had friends and family do me wrong over the years, but that dog always loved me unconditionally. He always was there after a crappy day at work or when I got a bad flu and couldn't hardly leave the bed for 2 days. I had a widow maker heart attack and he stuck around for 2 years after, to make sure I was ok. He did most of these things in this video. I saw a quote on Twitter that said " between hello and goodbye, there was love, so much love " RIP Shadow, you made my life worth living and I still miss you every damn day. 1993-2010

That would be selfish on our part since we say i won't own another, it's too sad. Our fear of loss, deprives a pup his whole life of being loved and deprives you those 12-15 of having the privelege of having loved. You can swerve the whole loss part if you plan on maybe aquirring puppies from your pal later in life so his memory, some manurisms and def his DNA will still live on.

This video is well made. I recently lost 3 of my best friends in a span of 2 years. I weeped inconsolably and loudly. I write this in tears. Please follow the advice. The dog will lovingly cling to you and make you strong as you impart love and support. Our dogs died in our arms. It helped us with closure and memories. Lastly I offer my strong opinion that you can’t replace any living creature or person you love but if you love your dog through to the end then you have an enduring love that can love another dog or two. They need your love and they will absorb your pain as they lick your face in that special canine way that begs for your deepest friendship. Adopt from the humane society or purchase a puppy. It’s the greatest tribute you can give to your best departed friends that adored you. Let love and humanity pour from your soul and your new best friends will give you years of joy & happiness. Most Sincerely, George. In loving memory of Hunter, Margaret, and Winston. And our new family members; Oliver & Alfie

Our family dog died yesterday morning.😢 I had to call all the siblings to come say goodbye to him. Everyone was saying I was wrong that he was fine playing around with them, but he was just happy to see everyone but right after everyone left he was ready. He died early morning the next day. We all just layed out in the living room with him so he wasn’t alone. We faked sleeping with him so he can pass in his sleep. He did 40mins later.

I disagree, I have thought about this a lot and maybe my thinking is flawed, like to hear others opinion on my acedotal example. Had an English Bulldog, 10 years old, who has managed to get the door open to our above ground pool deck one night when we let him out to go pee before bed (not sure if the kids left it open or what. Well he fell in the pool and bulldogs arent great swimmers so he drowned. While I was beyond devastated the only solace I got was that it was towards the end of his life (I guess relating it to a 90 year old grandmother dying as opposed to a 10 year old child. He was a great dog and I'm not sure if knowing I missed out on just a couple years with him is better than if I thought I missed out on 80 Also, if dogs have a live expectancy of 78 years, like we do, wouldn't it be incredibly selfish for older people to get a dog? I mean you know it's gonna outlive you, so you would push the burden of owning this dog to a relative.

Then the desire to get back out walking him spurred on her recovery. Mum and Toby were like an old married couple sitting on the settee together! I don’t think she will ever get over his loss. As a farmer I have to put down animals occasionally. But when my great dane reached 13 years old it was obvious that I couldn't hang on any longer. I took her out for one last very special day to all the places she loved. Even though I had to carry her some of the way. The next day I took her to the vet. I held her and cuddled her as her life slipped away. This is one of the hardest things I ever had to do. Yet I felt it was my duty to be with her until it was all over. I didn't mention that she was my first dog. The only one that had truly looked to me as her friend and "owner". So it was a lot more personal than any of the other animals I mentioned. Four years later I haven't got over that loss. Even with my new and lovely great dane.

Buzz (shepherd husky mix) began to lose control of his legs. The onset was very gradual. He insisted on going outdoors to evacuate his bowels. He seemed grateful that I helped support his body in the process. He was too heavy to carry any distance. For a time I took to sledding him down the front steps on a firm baby mattress. In the last day or so even that was beyond his ability. At his usual hour for going outdoors, he was laying immobile on his mattress and looking worried. I told him "Go ahead and let it go, honey, I'll clean you up". He understood me and cooperated. The last trip to the vet came soon after. I am a firm beleiver in pet owners cradling their pet when they get the needle. It is the moment that they need us most if ever. Be a comfort and save the tears for after to avoid adding to their distress. I've made it a tradition to make up some silly song that I sing to my pets when we're having a particularly joyful moment. I fancy the song will store up that joy like a battery. I sing it to them at moments when they are in particular distress and it seems to comfort them very quickly. I apply it sparingly so it won't have lost its power the last time they hear it.

He was in constant pain, and he couldn't even get out of his bed without me or some other family member having to carry him. We were thinking about putting him down, due to the constant pain, but the vet gave us medication for him, so we held off on it. Sadly, the medication didn't help Brady. On a Friday sometime in January I decided not to go to school to hang with Brady in his final moments. I miss him so much, and I wished I'd seen this video before he had passed the rainbow bridge. Maybe I could've taken him to the vet sooner, if I knew these signs. Thank you for making this video so other pet owners don't end up with the guilt of knowing that they possibly could have done something to save there furry friend.

Lost my two collie dogs last year. 14 and 15 years old. They went 2 months apart. Older one had to be euthanised, second died in my arms. As you’ll all know, it’s devastating. But we now have a pup, same breed, and has traits of both of them. She’ll never replace them, but she’s a blessing to us all.

♡ I lost my incredible boy about 2 months ago. We knew he was starting to age, but didn't exhibit any signs of pain and/or severe illness. My angel passed away at home, in our yard, in his favorite spot. I managed to get him inside with the help of another loved one. He passed away slowly and peacefully in my arms. He did it on his own terms. I got to tell him goodbye and express to him how much I loved him and what a fantastic dog he was. I also got to tell him that it was OK to go. That his human family that hed protected for so long) would all take care of one another. I would make sure of it. I told him to it was ok to let go and cross that rainbow bridge. He smiled at me and very gently passed shortly after. I recognize that not many people get to experience this when losing their best friend. As horrible and sad as it was to endure, I'm thankful for those moments. I know he is ok. My baby boy. Until we meet again! ♡

@@xcmedinA He had already been declining but then one moment he collapsed and stopped breathing (except for the final little wolf howl and that was it. It really happened so suddenly and I didn't see it coming. He always hated the vet so, in a way, comforted that he was at home and with me. I've had to make the call to have the vet put down my previous pets and that was beyond heartbreaking. At least, with euthanization they are not alone and no longer suffering. It's just so awful to have to be the one to decide. Bless you and your little one!

Wow, that is almost identical to mine. My shih tzu passed last May and he was 16 almost 17. Had him for 14 years. I could gradually see his decline in his last month or so. It started with not eating treats anymore, then wouldn't eat food at all, then eventually stopped drinking water. Lost so much weight, he was so thin, started throwing up, got so weak that when he would try to stand up, he would collapse on the floor. Watching him suffer those last three days of his life was unbearable and broke my heart. Was going to get him put down the next day but woke up that morning, and he had passed. The pain of losing him and missing him never goes away. I'm thankful that I now have a new shih tzu who is almost nine months old. He's helped heal some of the pain, but missing him will never go away 😢

I have my own dog now, a Samoyed called Bella but I will never forget my childhood dog. Shanty who was an American bulldog, she lived longer than most american bulldogs do, she lived until about 11 I think she was? I was with my dad as she got put down. That has to have been the hardest thing I’ve experienced and I’ve had a lot happen. But I took comfort knowing that she was at peace and no longer in pain, she slowly closed her eyes as if she went to sleep and that was it. We cremated her because she was with us for so long and she’s currently in an urn. She was the best dog we’ve ever had. I love my dog to bits, bellas just as loyal (to me as her dad ofc and the rest of the family) as Shanty was to the family. But shanty was a fantastic dog. Rest in peace big girl. 2009-August 23rd 2021.

My dad's border collie went through most of these before my parents had him euthanized. On the other hand, we had a golden retriever who showed few signs of being near the end. She wasn't young when she died, I think she was 12 or 13, but the only sign of age she had was difficulty standing up from hip dysplasia. Other than that, she was lively, active, had a normal appetite. Then one day she lay down in her favorite spot in the back yard, went to sleep, and died. My family had two other goldens. One of them disappeared when it was time to die. We lived on a ranch and one day she was just gone. She knew her time was up and she went off to find the right place to go. The other was a male. He was my protector when I was a child. He was born when I was one year old and he was attached to me. That dog would not let me go anywhere without him. He was very strong and generally friendly, but he was capable of violence. One time when we were playing in the haystack he killed a rat because it got too close to me. The older female was his mother. We were a trio. A four-year-old kid and two dogs.

I wish this video was made sooner so I know to spend more time with her. My fur baby showed all these symptoms within a few weeks of her passing. I will always remember the morning she knew she would leave me forever. She woke up me 5 in the morning by jumping out of her bed (she sleep in my room) and started to walk back and ford. I told her it was too early and to go back to sleep which she did. I woke her up at 7am for her morning walk before I went to work but she refused to go for a walk so I told her we'll go home and my sister-in-law will take her out for a walk later that morning. When we got to the front door, she just sat and wouldn't jump up the step so I picked her up and her breathing got slower and slower until she stopped breathing. I called her name many times crying for her to wake up but she didn't. She started to jerk a few times and took her last big breath in my arms, 10 mins before I left for work. She was 16 years old. The hardest day ever for me, I called out and didn't go to work. Stilled miss her badly every day.

The look he gave me when he was about to get the shot to make him sleep was one i will never forget. My heart hurt so bad that day. I stayed with him all the way til he passed on and one final goodbye and a rub on his head for being such a good baby. (Final Update Below (Last Full Week of April 2023)) Damn... my dog has most of these symptoms. I can't even sleep as I know it is coming inevetible. Everyone... please give my dog if you read this comment a Farwell. I love you Max... 💕 Edit: Still alive and active. Just more picky on his food now. He is getting on an older age but still a cute brat. Last and Final Edit: ...He passed away this week. I had to take him to get euthenized as his jaw was stuck open and tongue turning black. It was showing it during the weekened so the first avilable time we could, we took him in and they knew it was bad. To all the brave people who had to take their dog in for euthenization and hold them as they pass away... you have the most amazing hearts as you hold your loved one as their final comfort. It felt like it wasn't real... the whole process. Like... "Am I making a mistake?", "Should he lived more," "Is he still alive..." heck, those still go through my mind. I loved him and I am thankful for him being in my life as I was in his. I burried him myself at a family farm if anyone was curious in one my favorite shirts. May he ever rest in peace. A quote I believe is appropriate for all animal lovers who have pets: "Animals live shorter lives than us, but we are in their whole lives."

Sure it is helpful to be prepared, however and as with happened to my beloved Keeshond dog on this Thanksgiving day, there is always the unexpected. She was 14 years old on 11/24/21, the day before Thanksgiving and was in fantastic health and spirits, especially for a dog that age. Never displayed any of the symptoms in this video. Only 2 weeks prior, she had a comprehensive wellness check that included lab work and my vet told me to keep doing whatever I was doing because the results were amazing. His words. Then on Thanksgiving day at 4:05PM, she went from being fine to being in total distress and agony within seconds. Rushed her to an emergency veterinary hospital and she passed within an hour of arriving from a neurological event. Thanksgiving, being a major holiday, was a terrible day for this event since the only two specialty veterinary hospitals within a 50 mile radius were either closed or only equipped to triage and were not staffed to perform extensive testing. As with anything in life, we can try to be as informed or prepared as possible. However, sometimes things are simply out of our control. Not a sympathy plea by any means, however, to say that I am a broken man is an understatement. That dog has been with me through divorce and has been the channel for all of my love. I unknowingly filled a void in my life with her for love and companionship. Have a bit of a road ahead of me and I accept that. 🙏🙏

@@anthonycotugno7369 I'm so sorry for your loss. Your story is hitting so close to home. My Keeshond is 15.5, and we're struggling. She had PHPT, and had surgery for that in 2015. Her calcium levels never stabilized and became more erratic about a year ago. I had to foot stomp in the rural area we moved to to get the proper bloodwork and get her on the right medicine, but, she's now becoming food picky, can't hear, low vision, canine dementia, has trouble getting up and walking. I feel like every day is a miracle. I don't think she's unhappy, but the decision about how to love her best is omnipresent.

@@JLeigh75309 Thank you. My advice for you with your Keeshond is to enjoy every day with her. Having a Keeshond, you know they want to be next to you all the time. They love all people, but you are number one in their life. When she is next to you, she is happy. For the picky eating, I would try mixing some pumpkin puree supplement for dogs to her dry food. The other symptoms you are describing will happen as dogs age. A Keeshond is a very gentle creature and will let you know if they are in pain or in distress. Just love her every day, one day at a time - I'm sure you do. When we get these dogs, your Keeshond 15 years or so ago and my beloved Keeshond, 14 years ago, we were signing a contract with ourselves for pain and grief. Pain is the price we pay for love. The pain I am feeling now is absolutely debilitating. However, all the years of love and knowing I gave her the absolute best life far surpasses the pain I feel now. The pain will diminish in time, but my beloved dog and the fond memories and will be in my heart forever. That is great, not sad. Be well.

I am so glad to have seen this. It brings a certain amount of peace to my guilt for choosing euthanasia. After watching this I know it was the right thing to do. It was the most painful thing I have EVER had to do, and the pain of those last few moments was unbearable.

I have gone through this 4 times, starting from age 5 to 55 and realized that it's inevitable. The signs are unmistakable! 😥 But, have never been able to euthanize any of them as I always clung on to hope. Have planted trees where I have buried my last 3 babies and am on to my 4th who is a year old and technically, she's my daughter's dog. I daily walk by the trees with my Goldie named Luna, and call out to all of them. My parents cremated my first dog as I was just 16, away at boarding school and we didn't have a permanent home then.

(*Sittin' here, bawlin' my eyes out*) I can see some of the signs, that my doggie, Boost's time with me, is winding down. There's just no way to prepare for the inevitable. Reading thru some of the posts here, is tearin' me up. Soft hugs to all who've faced this, and those who will in the future.

It was such a heartache for me to lose my beloved four-legged companion that it has put me off getting another friend. They enrich our lives so much, and I get so attached, they are here for such a short time and I feel so helpless in their inevitable end. They truly are sentient beings.

My dog named cali died from a sickness that i do not know of, she wasnt able to stand up, her eyes were yellow, her gums were yellow and almost died due to it, her eyes were moving left to right uncontrollably, but we fed her water and a drink and she temporarily got better, i stayed up 2am up to 5am so i could take care of her, around 5:40 am when i was trying to make her drink water, she randomly stopped moving her body was on the floor, i rush to my parents room and told them about cali, we tried to wake her up but she didnt do anything other than twitch a bit, i cried my eyes out as i remembered all the memories i made with cali(the dog), it was one of the most painful moments in my life, thank you cali for being with my family for 10 years ill miss you so much and i hope you enjoy your life in heaven❤️

Very good video when a dog is ready to meet his/her maker. I lost four red golden retrievers, three in one year, and I will tell you it hurts. I think about them every day. It still hurts, because they were my best friends. God take good care of my four Goldens until I die.

I am so sorry for the loss of your friends and pets. I have lost a lot of senior pets. It hurts way too much. We can make their passing much easier and stress free. I have slept on our wooden floors next to a dog that was passing. She was my best friend and angel. We have used at home euthanasia as well. It’s never easy. It’s never fair.

Milo has been the only living, breathing thing in my life for the past eight years and I honestly can’t imagine my life without him. That’s the only fault dogs have really is that they don’t live forever.💔

Losing my Cocker Spaniel was the hardest thing that ever happened to me. I have almost no memories for six months after losing her. I still miss her badly to this day.

Harley was 16 and a few months old. She was a sweet little min pin we got from a Lady while delivering Christmas gifts. It was the best decision I could have made. She loved walks, people, treats. Napping. Chasing squirrels and rabbits. She was the best friend and companion anyone could ever have. In the past few months, her gallbladder and liver enzymes were starting to rise, and we knew the day was coming. I had a few ugly cries on Feb 8, 2023 the day we let her go. She was showing symptoms and one day she just stopped eating. I miss my little buddy and to this day I will always have her in my heart. There is a void in the house, and my heart is broken. If I could only be the person my Harley thought I was.

There’s nothing like the Unconditional Love of your fur baby, I had to say my goodbyes to my beautiful little fur baby girl last month and the pain of making that decision was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, I’m still grieving for her and miss her every day, she was not just a pet, she was family and she was my best friend, I feel so lost without her and I also feel guilty for what I did but deep down I know it was the right thing to do But it doesn’t lessen the pain I’m feeling, I don’t ever want to go through this again, I’m not getting another fur baby because there’s not another one out there that could replace her and I’m getting too old to go through losing another fur baby, I’ve lost three now and each time they take part of my heart with them, I had two of my little ones cremated and when my last little one crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge I had her and her fur baby brother put into the same beautiful urn I had chosen for them to be together and they’re sitting on our fireplace along with a cast moulding of her little paw 🐾, both where Maltese and our other fur baby from years ago was a beautiful black Labrador but cremation wasn’t around when we had to say goodbye to him unfortunately, there’s no greater joy than having a fur baby grow up with your children and nothing more comforting than having a fur baby when you get older for company. Blessings to all those that have lost and loved their beautiful fur babies. 😢😢…How do you cope with your grief when you Loved them so much. 😢😢🐶💕🌈
