The Dark and the Wicked was fantastically creepy. Loved it. They tried to avoid jump scares and relied mostly on dread and suspense. Brilliant and chilling.

I loved Noroi, The Wailing and Aterrados. I just watched Incantation, and it belongs on a top 10 scariest Asian horror movie list. It's a found footage style film, like Noroi, Occult and Gonjiam.

anything for jackson and Terrified go so hard. Theyre both very silly but scary and fun.

Aterrados (Terrified) is one of the best horror movies I've seen in a long time. Original and so well written, its a breath of fresh air compared to the many 'Hollywood' types where everything is so predictable. I thought 'The Ritual' and 'The Autopsy of Jane Doe' should have been included too, but that's just my 2 cents!😉

Terrified was a miss for me. The first 20 minutes were pretty great but the rest of the movie is a mess. It completely abandons the main characters and their storylines to the point where it feels like it's two different movies put together. There's no continuity, it felt very disjointed. Plus there was no climax.

Avid horror fan and have been for the last 27 years. I've damn near see it all and I have to say The Dark and The Wicked creeped me the fuck out. Would not recommend watching alone in the dark. I have some how missed Anything for Jackson but ill definitely give it a watch, looks like my kind of fun.

The taking of deborah

Terrified is a student movie filmed by two friends, a short film. Also the plot of the long movie is a mixture of three plots the autor came up over several years. Many film companies put his idea down, for obvious reasons, the autor is a person that dont listen to feedback, which is a bad idea for an artist. (At one point in his life he even started to do comedies). The movie is a total mess as a result. The short movie carries a whole lot of a message than the full movie itself.

The Dark and The Wicked was good up until the end…there’s no explanation for anything and I don’t feel like that would’ve been hard to do. None of it made sense. And the ending was very anti-climactic. It’s a shame too because the movie had such potential.
