Great list Jamyang, personally I thought Triple Threat was a bit of a missed opportunity on the filmmakers part because of all the star power it had, but it was still enjoyable if not a little underwhelming. Also thanks for putting the short film links at the end, I’m excited to check them out. I’ve always thought it would be cool at some point to see a gun-fu fight scene compilation if that would be at all possible

I agree Triple Threat was pretty underwhelming. Each of the cast members did way better in their own solo movies. Also, I don't make fight scene compilations, only top 10s. Two of the compilations were taken down as I explained in a previous video. But gun-fu is still a great topic!

This indeed widens my eye to a lot of country's films, didn't see the anime part coming though.

Absolutely loved it. Very well crafted video. It’s a shame Into The Badlands didn’t made it in the top 10

Wu Assassins was actually pretty good! i'm impressed with the action, the acting, and the story!

good job like usual, thanks for the list a couple of those I hadn't seen so will have to check them out myself was a little disappointed in triple threat but that was probably partially because I was looking forward to it for a long time before finally seeing it, but also I hated seeing all the gun battles with the level of martial arts talent they had it felt like wasted opportunities

That was a perfect video! Keep this format. You could make a video showing the best scenes from each actors that are gonna be on the new Mortal Kombat movie. 💪🏼🐲

I was pleasantly surprised with the fight scene at the end of episode 1 in the Witcher, where Geralt becomes the butcher of Blaviken. If you haven’t seen it you should definitely check it out, it might make your next list!

I've been hearing good things about it. Never played the Witcher games but I had a feeling the fight scenes might be worth checking out.

Into the Badlands 1st season was good, in the 2nd season its notable the quality of the fighting scenes dropped significantly. Wu Assassins CGI is pretty bad lol good thing it has Iko in it. I liked Warrior better, Koji doesn't deliver an on screen fight as good as Joe but apparently Koji barely uses stunt double and that makes all the difference and the shots are longer in the fighting scenes, unlike the other 2 TV shows, Warrior has a better story too.

lol that's a lot of questions, but the same martial arts actor usually uses the same fighting style in many of their movies, you can usually figure that out by reading about their martial arts background, sometimes it's a little more specific though, for example Scott Adkins and Colin Frater are trained in multiple martial arts but they were supposed to represent Karate in Ip Man 4....

@@brunoyudi9599 sounds about right, except I don't think iko Uwais is trained in Judo and Muay Thai, just Silat. And Scott Adkins primary martial art seems to be TKD.

You're right, Iko Uwais only practiced silat, it seems that he also practied judo and muay thai, the strokes he makes in the movies. Scott really does taekwondo, but I think he used it in the films Triple Threat and Hard Target 2, but I'm not sure he also practiced acrobatic gymnastics.

I'm a big fan of ur content Jamyang and i also like the new direction you are taking this channel to, but, you need to work more on ur voice-over cuz it feels off like you are reading from a script or something. Don't get me wrong the script is well written and informative, but ur performance is monotone. Try to work on pauses, transitions and endings, also use ups in downs in ur voice you'll be flawless

Thanks for the feedback! I agree my voice tends to be flat at times. It's going to take some practice to find a more expressive pattern of inflection and whatnot to get it right....

_Wu Assassins_ is so meh... I'm glad Iko is apparently settling here in the West and it's awesome to make him more known but... that show is so predictable and the choreos are so... weak. Don't get me wrong, it's perfectly watchable, however I was expecting much more... _John Wick_ movies are nice but overrated, as well as superhero ones. That _Batman_ didn't impress me either... I thought _RWBY_ was much better instead. The ones I loved, since I didn't know zilch of them and I went with zero hype were _Furie_ and _Revenger_ ... Very nice movies indeed! Recommended. I still have to watch _Triple Threat_ . Talking about _Master Z_ is bring owls to Athens but even the _wire-fu_ was well implemented (I still hate wire-fu nonetheless). What surprised me a lot was Bautista's acting... He did it competently good... Anyway, good to have you back, Jamyang. I wasn't aware of the problem of your channel regarding that copyright stuff until watch your video about it a couple of days ago... I hope you can somehow bring back at least some videos you did with so much dedication...

Wu Assassins had some potential that it didn't quite live up to. But if we're going to be getting some better martial-arts centric television in the future, I guess it's at least a start. I'd say Warrior was the better show overall in terms of dialogue, character development, acting, sociopolitical commentary, etc.

Yeah, despite of all the things I didn't like, I really hope the show get better. I need to see _Warrior_ too, but considering what I've read about it, looks better than _Wu Assassins_ ...

No talking is how I got some of my other videos taken down for copyright. Which is why the commentary is necessary. But it hardly matters since next to no one saw this video anyway...
