I have been watching the website showing European coaches, they are so much better design and much economical. I wonder why there is none importer selling them in Canada especially.

May be worth flying over purchasing one and shipping it back or ferrryimg if possible...to the US. Any input you can add to this topic? I'm selling my house and moving to a van.

#2 is my favorite, so versatile in its ability and still a great build.

Love your campervan series, I mostly like to see whats going on in the smaller conversions

6:15 Yoooo, how clever is THAT? It's amazing how much a little moving wall can change! It's the first bathroom I can call proper, that I've seen in a camper van.

None available in The United States except one.

My fav's? #'s 6 & 8. Love them. One of my favorite features is the swing away shower compartment. Why are they not used here in US?

Of all of them I favour the Canadian made. It really comes across as no nonsense and most practicle in design. Love it . That's not my opinion because I'm Canadian it's because grandparents immigrated Canada in the 18 hundreds and my parents came west in a Canadian travel van . Well it was actually called a covered wagon back then . They would be so proud if I had one these fancy travel vans. ☺️

The vehicle looked like an early Airstream to me? Love the Leasure Unity FX and looking at it pretty seriously so there is a 2020 or 2021 model that could have our name on it.

I will say, I agree with you!!!!!

I would love to see the affordable pop-ups for families or at least vans that could safely seat for people and sleep for but are not huge things like the recon camper

i can see where Winnebago got some of their ideas for the Solis!

These are always tough to watch as the innovation in Europe is very good, but thanks for the inclusion of Canadian based LTV, you really should be looking at Canadian based PleasureWay. They are the Premier Canadian Van Build Bar NONE, in my humble opinion! :-)

oliver 11 Sportsmobile has 3 factories in the USA. We are starting to build one now to access a power wheelchair.

ITS The western Clipper. Designed by Brooks Stevens... I'm 63 and would love a camper van but can't afford one 63 and retired and want to travel

I like the Mercedes-Benz on the long wheelbase but there are things that would have to be changed. I would like my bed to be a little more upfront with a storage area for my two electric scooters. We would like solar panels on the roof so the camper would be fully solar powered when parked in a campground. Do you do used Mercedes Benz? We're looking at a 2014 Mercedes Benz diesel extended cargo van high top Sprinter I believe it's the biggest one. It's $31,197 Canadian. And we want to convert it a little bit to camper if we decide to buy it.

I think the pictured vehicle is a camper based on the Stout Scarab.

Great as these camper vans are I would if I had the money to buy one I’d still plump for a long wheel base Mercedes sprinter with a mahoosive lift for off road use as well as 4 wheel drive and a high/ low box because as most people who’ve went serious off roading will know you don’t go off road if you don’t have all of these necessary items you’re screwed

Nice video, nice vans except no 1. that a complete different class. All previous are boxed vans. So that's not comparable. There are tons of them in there own class.

How do you not explain the bathroom of van 6? It's looks very unique, can't understand why you skipped over it.

I've not seen any other producer utilise the murphy bed config, but it appears to be a winner. Sad these can't be found in Europe.

Well i thought i'd found my couple of favourites with the Westfalia and the Fiat ducato based effort but then i saw No.1....wow what a beautiful home on wheels,a lounge with L shaped settee with leg rests and a TV and a shower/toilet cubicle AND a kitchen with a dinette that seats four,then a great pull down double bed. Basically a freakun palace on wheels...i gots ta have one,i need ta get me one,ooo ooo and based on a Mercedes to well done Canada.

Leslie Granowski - Don't be mistaken in Europe there's a lot more choice than shown on the video with interesting price also. In fact I find curious that the most known brands don't even make to the video. Except Possl. ;-)

America seems to prefer larger RV vehicles than the smaller vans of Europe

Still little or no options for all people. I’m 6’5” and see very few options for me to spend all this money I’ve saved. Guess I’ll jus buy a beach condo instead. 😇

I guess I have to go to Germany to get a Van that's built with taste and of ability to be versatile at an affordable price.

There's other camper vans in the world besides these. The U.S. has some nice ones too. We have them in other videos.

Trouble is you can't buy those vans in United States, The ones available you can't afford.

You can buy overseas, but then you have to be prepared for importation guidelines and thus changes and fees. I'd love for a company to design a Universal/Global design one (drive on either side depending upon the country one is in) and thus where changes for importation and deportation is non-existant. Oh, and let's not forget plug-in and solar charging options in addition to regular gasoline and/or alternative fuel.

That is exactly what I was thinking. It seems the decent vans like these that are not horribly over priced are not sold in the U.S.

Why are the wheels always so small, surely larger wheels are a must for a small house on wheels.

A recurring theme seems to be German builds on French chassis.

LES - Franco-Italian chassis, a few years ago dominated the market by about 85%! A staggering number by anyone's perspective. With the top contenders using the Peugeot/Citroen/Fiat basis, Renault slightly less, Mercedes much less and VW just a glitch... Main reasons frame space, cost and availability. The aftermarket is made to fit the main contenders. On the smaller vans VW, Mercedes, Renault/Opel/Nissan, Peugeot/Citroen...more or less in this order.

#8 is best one with only 18 ft

Yup, we are working on it. We have several in with other videos and other countries seem to have a plethora of them, so finding them won't be easy. There will be at least two really cool U.S campervan in this Saturdays video. I think you maybe shocked at prices when you see them. Shocked in a good way.
