10 (Advanced) English Words You Are Probably MISpronouncing! | Pronunciation & Common Mistakes

OK, here we go! 10 (Advanced) English Words You Are Probably MISpronouncing!
In this English pronunciation lesson, I'll show you how to pronounce some advanced English vocabulary that is difficult to pronounce (sometimes, even for native English speakers!)
Let's practice:
- Pronunciation
- Chaos
- Specifically (Realistically, Strategically, Politically, Logically, Democratically, Artistically, Economically, Chaotically)
- Prestigious
- Mischievous *YIKES* (spelling mistake in the video... Right after I said "it's often spelled incorrectly too"!! 😅😂)
- Triathlon
- Quinoa
- Acai
- Genre
- Espresso, Escape, Especially
Let's fix these pronunciation mistakes together so that you can speak English more clearly and confidently!
My video lessons are created to help English learners to improve their pronunciation and speaking skills. Please note that the pronunciation of some of these words differs between English accents. I speak with an Australian English accent 🙂

I'm so grateful for this video. I actually saw a video this week in which an American English teacher living in Brazil was talking about how she learned Portuguese (she was speaking English), and she mispronounced the word "especially" exactly like it was mentioned here in this video. But I had learned it before... So I got a little confused, like "Is it something common?".

Thanks so much Emma. I really love it and I learn new vocabularies and their pronunciations as well, and I need you to help me to pronounce two words "question " Because it's hard to pronounce the "st" And "suggestion" I have the same problem with the "st" Sound I feel my tongue is heavy and stopped and I can't complete the rest of the word. I hope you can pit these words on the list for the upcoming video, I will be appreciated. Thanks so much again. See you soon😘

Nice video 💓 thank you Emma.. As an Indonesian I find difficult to learn pronunciation because we don't speak English as a second language. We just focus on the theory and grammar. The pronunciation and and phonic sound are completely different. That's why we have awful English pronunciation (mostly) 😂
