What happens when the anchor is stuck between the rocks, will that lead to the Minn Kota getting fried?

Thank you for the update video, it gave me peace about the two that I purchased to install on my pontoon. My question, was it difficult to run power to the back of the boat to power it?

Hi, thanks for the vid. My boat is 100% of the time outside/ not in a garage. Do you think any issues could occur with corrosion or water getting into the motor from rain?

Probably not, but just put a plastic grocery bag around it

Shouldn't have a thick chain and a thicker rope? ...is it safe ?

I modified my anchor winch so lighter anchors can work well with it. I made a video how to do this. kzread.info/dash/bejne/iW2O0qOgZLO8obw.html All it takes is a very little bit of filing, so the spring that controls the micro switch that starts and stops the down motor action functions with a lighter anchor. I don't know why Minn Kota builds these winches the way they do, just a little file work and bam! My 15 pound anchor works great with it.
