I'm not Fiona, but as a Christian who is also single and waiting for marriage i thought i can give you an answer on how to deal with that... 1.Exercising self-control which is one of the fruits of the Holy spirit. it is not easy by any means, you need to cultivate it on a daily but with God's help all things are possible. 2. Reading the word of God..these bible verses keep me grounded( Romans 8:12‭-‬13 "Therefore, brethren, we are debtors-not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live", James 1:22‭-‬24 "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was")

Kindly allow me add my two cents: 1) Accountability Being accountable first to God but also to fellow christians is very important in dealing with hormones/feelings as a single christian woman. Allowing for example your friends to constantly ask questions like "Where are you?" "What are you doing?" "Who is that guy?" "Are you walking in fellowship with God?". For me, those questions keep me sober and leave no room for me to go astray. 2) Prayer Telling God that this single life can get HARD sometimes also helps. Asking the Holy Spirit to keep you from falling (Jude 1:24) is very important. We can't keep pure on our own but God enables us walk this journey and the credit for us to have self control all goes to Him.
