I think it's in two ways , we all have a social responsibility as a society to be each others keeper But there is also individual preference and talent that we shouldn't dwindle down because you don't like it They have to be middle grown where we can all coexist and thrive

I think to an extent you do owe your followers at least a duty of care, but also ethics. For example if you’re talking about a subject like domestic violence or even Generation Z like you did last time, as much as you’re speaking from your personal experiences, you should still do research and give us statistics about the topics that you’re informing us about, because you’re informing. You shouldn’t just basis your opinions on personal experiences. When it comes to spaces like Instagram, we like to see your quirks, and see more of your personality and we don’t mind random content. However, you should choose to share what you’re comfortable with because at the end of the day, you don’t know us personally. If you’re comfortable sharing your huge mansion, that is okay because one person might be envious and another person will be inspired to work hard. Prim for example, talking about coming from poverty and right now enjoying a life of success, it is inspiring to us who are working hard and hoping for our own breakthroughs. Many people will push on because of your story and if it bothers me to see you successful, then it more of a reflection on me, than on you. So, do you, but in addition to your personal opinions, give us other well researched answers.

I think There's a "duty of care" here because KZread is a platform that is open to a wide variety of viewers and now as a parent, how do you censor what your child is exposed to, we all want the world to be a better place but the best way to do that is through our individual actions, as a person the need to put a cap on to your own actions because you can only control your own person/self Anyway, I think someone who looks up to you might be derailed to their detriment as per your actions,... See to each their own... But according to the scriptures, we shall account for our idle words✌

I don’t think content creators owe us shit, as long as what you are putting up is your truth. I don’t directly purchase your content so we can’t put any specific expectations on what you decide to share with us.

Bottom line is people are entitled to their opinions and beliefs. We just have to learn how to deal with each other respectfully.

Prim 💯 Civil servants in Africa behave like doing their job is a favour, most especially Kenyan staff at Huduma Centres and other commonly used government services, Prim i agree with employees messing up people's business with unprofessionalism , attitude etc , someone has taken so much investment in business but the attendant is not client friendly, experts in such conduct are employees in beauty shops, clothing stores etc

😂claire even millennials use phones 😂i worked somewhere where we got to know personal business of most colleagues because they'd make personal phone calls at work, it made the environment uncomfortable, because why are you arguing with your baby daddy at work 😬, people need a re-training on office etiquette, kenyan law firms can get very comfortable for long serving staff and once they personalize the workplace it becomes really awkward and uncomfortable for new staff.

You can have both.....just because you are a parent doesn't mean you give up on your dreams. Maybe it has to do with where you are financially because being financially well off, me following my dream doesn't take away from me making sure my children still have their present and future catered for while I'm pursing my own dreams.

Ha ha , thanks Prime but that intern whose doesn’t want their time to be planned ? Yes it’s valid but at that stage in life , it’s wise to respect the growth process by inclining and learning from experienced people in the organization.its essential for either career or business ownership and life generally

Clare, you are so right and I get you so well when you explain the issues of wanting more pay and taking on positions, I mean there's a lot to consider before placing certain people in certain places just that often we do not realize what we need to do/improve on to attain such opportunities. thanks, ladies for educating us always

@@philomina24 Ability to pursue one's dreams at one point becomes a privilege. Your dream may be to travel the world but what if you are the primary bread winner of your extended family. Hmmmm. The traveling will be shelved and whatever brings in the money will be prioritised.

Marriage and Divorce bill is fine. The man buys the food ur complaining about. If it wasn't there, you would cook it. Ur so-called support is not worth anything if the man does nothing. The way women complain about the pregnancy changes, just don't get pregnant.

I like the fact that Clare brings out the perspective of the other side of the coin ( from the employer point of view) which is often neglected, employees only see it from their side, not the balanced perspective

Thank you prim for that. we talk about these things in the work places where you're over worked, no leave days of which you have to make up stories to get days for yourself to reset and feel like you can control your life fully, you have to be likeable and impress people at the work place which is really over whelming and you still have to be grateful for having what you have.

One of my BIGGEST pet peeves is bad service, especially in hospitality. And I have worked in hospitality but I always left my problems at home when I went on shift., I had a smile and did what I had to do to serve the people I was entrusted to deliver to. I got promotions 6 months in because I brought something different from the GenZs I was supervising.

I love that you mention seasons. Something not often understood. We could be the same age and even with the same background but in different seasons, and these seasons allow us to do certain things in certain limits. Having Claire there gives the perspective from a mother's angle. As a parent, you're in a different space, and priorities are different from a person on their own.

Training Training Training I think is the only way to impart work etiquette People are watching movies and they think this is the way to behave It is a general problem especially the phone thing; I could not dare take a call while speaking to my boss, but even workers in the home are on the phone while in the middle of a conversation with them Please more convos on work place etiquette, expectations, pursuing purpose in the workspace you are in etc

Most especially work etiquette in terms of boundaries, I'm tired of knowing people's really unnecessary and uncomfortable information just because they have personalized the office and discuss such or have phone calls on such issues,

Completely understand what Claire is talking about but salary increase is not only based on how much more your giving but could be even just from the increase in cost of living and long-term experience. Honestly I think even effort and willingness to learn should be rewarded if the budget allows it. I may not have 'added value' to the business but the economy has transitioned and that salary doesn't cut it anymore.
