I’ve been wondering how that luggage bay conversion into essentially a cat condo/house working out for you & the cats? When this bus was built it was the one thing my partner & I had differing views on. We have cats & one of us thought the cats wouldn’t use it (especially not as a viewing spot) i can’t remember if it had a screen as well as a door on that bay…

Best thing we did in the bus! I know it sounds silly but it worked out great! The cats love it, it took a few days of training for them to learn to use the door but once they got it it was no problem. The litter comes off their paws on the ramp so we don't have it tracked around our tiny home and there are zero smells. The exhaust fan works great! Both our cats like to go down on the landing (not in the litter) to take a nap because they feel safe and no one can get to them. Mr Sweetface travels down there too, because it's his safe spot. And it's actually pretty good because the landing isn't very big so if we slam on breaks he won't go flying. So yes, approved by cats and humans.
