@@AhmadGrant- LSU was at home with the crown support-I am sure Dawn expected them to come out with all the intensity. It’s hard to match that in a *hostile* environment. They did what a good teams does-stay true to who you are and keep plugging away with good defense. Defense quiets the crown! They proved that and got the W.

I enjoy the NBA and NFL. But games like this I do recognize. Observations: Coach Mulky died 1000 deaths on the sidelines. The fans were just off the richter scale, intense. Cordoso kept blocking Angel’s shot and smiled at Reese each time. They battled. There were a lot of blocked shots in the game. Energy and intensity of players, fans and mulky was off the charts. Staly and Mulky two great coaches. Overall, both teams engaged in physical battles, bodies colliding and crashing. Reese, fouled out. Questionable calls??? Carolina managed clock and time outs very good. Conclusion: Carolina is a well disciplined and methodical team. They reflect the cool, calm and patient Dawn Staly. Hung around and waited till last minutes to steal game. So obvious what she and they were doing and did it. Cannot wait for rematch. Fantastic game on a Saturday night.

And truthfully Angel is no Morrow. They both can rebound and put back. Until Angel gets some kind of mid range game I think Morrow is a little more valuable to the team just because she has a midrange game. Reese is a very very good player I dont quite put her in great player status because lets face it she looks like she is throwing up bricks when she steps more than 3' from the hoop. She also has problems when she comes across the 6'5" 6'6" player. She would be much more dangerous but in her years in college when she should have maybe been working on her shot instead of chasing celebrity its held her back from being an all around great player. This will hurt her in the WNBA thats why she isn't slotted to go in the draft until the 8th or 9th pick. If she had a midrange game I truly feel she would be top 3.

@@704jiggy2 if you read in what I said they had a shot to win and if Reese was in who knows. My basic point is why I think Morrow is more valuable and quite frankly a better player than Reese. I think the outcome would have been the same if Morrow was out and Reese was still on the floor. But Morrow has a shot her midrange is 1000% better than Reese. Reese has no midrange.

So much for LSU's super team. Beaten by SC 15 times in a row, and at home no less. Reese on the bench with her fouling out of control.

No they didn't. I went to see them play at TAMU and told my husband that they were playing sloppy then and they cannot play like that against LSU. We were hitting our 3s on Sunday much more than tonight. As predicted, however, SC played sloppy once again. They need to clean it up before the playoffs.

They just so happen to be playing a good team that wasn't as talented but that doesn't mean SC didn't make mistakes. It just wasn't as obvious but it was definitely obvious when they played LSU.

Nobody thought LSU was really the best team last year, but it's good to be lucky.

both these teams combined for a total of 11 blocked shots. amazing for a women's college game.

Foul trouble ultimately did LSU in for this game in particular. *On the bright side for LSU* Mikayla Williams (someone they’ve relied on for scoring) had easily her worst scoring output in a LSU uniform which in terms is pretty redeeming seeing how they only lost this game by 6 points and I don’t foresee her having another awful game like this one. Great game from both teams but in the end foul trouble from LSU & SC showing toughness down stretch was the difference.

First off credit the defense for her not scoring as much. You could see SC was trying to take her away. Also PaoPao and Kamilla had bad games and won by 6 on the road. Like futurehofer1564 stated. So to me it was a wash. Ugly game for SC and still came out a winner on the road.

@@zairesays I will say it Morrow is better than Reese and I will tell you why. Morrow has a really good mid range game and can hit the occasional 3. Reese has no outside game whatsoever. Morrow plays defense just as well as Reese and rebounds the ball just as well. I take Morrow over Reese any day for her ability to step outside and hit a shot.

This game was lit. LSU couldve pulled away in the 3rd when SC got cold and turned yhe ball ober a couple times. But they didnt take advantage. Ladies was ballin! Tht freshman for LSU was wet. 🔥🔥

If you watched the game you would notice that the shooting by both teams was below average there were a lot of Missed shots it was kind of a sloppy game and not great team play.

I think Cardoso's demeanor helps her with the refs. She's always looking so sweet but she's fouling the hell out of everybody! She even stared sweetly at Angel after that foul where she clobbered Angel and touched minimal if any actual ball. Angel Reese on the other hand, brings the swag and has received technicals for staring at players and talking shit, too. Just an observation. These women are stars though. When you have personalities o. The court it makes for great entertainment. These teams don't like each other and that was a playoff type game so both teams will improve atlfter that game

somebody got out coached on that one. if you don't let sc have any 3s, they can't come back. let the big girl score in the paint. no need to double or triple team her in the 4th quarter and leave shooters open for 3s. 2s can't beat you if you ahead by 10. She has great acceleration and top speed, very athletic. Fun to watch. However I think what ever coach Staley decides is the best decision. She is always playing the long game, eyes on the big prize.

Fall behind or not SC can come back on anybody because they have the height and they also now have players who can hit the 3 consistently. UConn will have a hard time with KItt they really dont have anybody who matches up with her. Or for the overall height of SC for that matter. SC is also deep playing 10-11 players.
