I felt the same way. Never before have I ever gotten fired up about woman’s college basketball. This inspiring lady will do that to ya. I forgave watching the Astros tonight just so I could watch Caitlin and Iowa kick LSU’s azz. It was satisfying. Caitlin Clark will do that to you. Get you fired up to watch a tremendous leader and incredible athlete. After I heard about the classless act Reese did to Caitlin …I turned my attention to the rematch. Forget that this wasn’t for the championship ..it was satisfying enough to know these thugs out of the tournament and sending them home….. . He who laughs last laughs the loudest. Sorry Angel.

Iowa played with class, and won with class. Sportsmanship at the end with the hand shakes as well. LSU got humbled, overall good game

Very satisfying. All the pregame/halftime commentators can forget about drooling over Angel Reese…….shes going home now.

Reese doesn’t remotely have the same athleticism as Clark it’s quite easy to see in just basic motor skills

This is the best game I can recall that Caitlin has had against a great team too. She put her entire team on her back and didn’t look to feel any pressure either. When she came out and immediately score a 3 pointer that set the stage fast. I have been critical of her causing a lot of turnovers and not finishing at the basket with efficiency, but tonight she played up to all the hype around her. SHE single-handedly took out LSU. Indiana is licking their chops in the WNBA draft this month.

Best game of the year. Both teams played at a high level and made great plays. This will elevate women's basketball in general. I can't imagine that the National Championship will be any more entertaining than this one, regardless of who is playing in it.

Glad LSU lost bc they left the court right before the National Anthem. Another words, they skipped it on purpose.

That was really cool to see. It's good to see a star player motivating their teammates.

Flau’jae should’ve been guarding Caitlin from the start of this game it was very disappointing & just crazy the fact that Coach Mulkey waited until the 4th Quarter with under 5 minutes left in the game to finally put Flau’jae on CC. The final stretch where she guarded CC she was *actually* doing a good job staying in front of her & not letting her get to her spots like what she was doing all game long. Plus all season long Flau’jae has been guarding the opposing team’s best perimeter player so I dont understand how they continued watching for 3 and a half quarters to let Hailey & Poa get cooked by CC. Lastly Angel showed up & played a good game however she needs to add a reliably consistent mid-range jumper to her game if she wants to truly be considered a great player , and tbh i wouldn’t be surprised if HVL decides to ultimately leave LSU via transfer portal or draft. The fit with HVL just wasn’t there all season long she’s very streaky of a shooter and not a great on-ball defender.

Clark bringing in the crowd. The world now watches NCAA because of her and Ice Cube knew it ever since.

There's no question Clark is a standout but she isn't the only top player Iowa has. This is a fun game.

All the pundits under estimated Iowa. Iowa is more than Caitlin. Focusing on her and containing her has been the doom of every team in the tournament so far this year. It is amazing to me that a team so stacked with experienced seniors can be so under rated. This is why Caitlin has such a complete game with not just her 3's, but assists as well. If Iowa were full of average players, Caitlin would not be able to lead the league in both points AND assists. When I watched ESPN they said that both Colorado and LSU were too big and Iowa just does not match up. They were wrong...everybody who surrounds Caitlin is much better than people think. Also, about Caitlin, everybody compares her to Steph Curry for obvious reasons. I think she is more like Larry Bird...able to hit a shot from anywhere, able to poke and drive to the basket, and able to find incredible passes for assists, and delivers game ending plays. She has that sixth sense that Larry had....and she makes everybody on her team better...and frustrates everybody on the other team. UCONN is going to be a tough game...they match up well and I think it is going to be close, maybe down to the last shot. I can't wait to watch it.

Those classless LSU players don't deserve to be in the final four anyways after their actions before the game.. scholarships need to be taken away and coaches fired for allowing that kind of behavior..in the end they got their just deserts handed to them by a great Iowa team..

Class wins. Trash loses. And everything is right in the Universe.

To me Addison O'Grady was the difference maker. She crushed it on D and in the middle when Stuelke struggled. This enabled Caitlin to do her thing.

A lot of people are glad the classless team lost tonight. LSU coach is a mean looking witch. No humility in losing.

I think most would agree that was by far the best game so far in this tournament! Both teams played well and had great plays and tied at 45 all at the half! Any other games that good at the half?? I don't remember one. But the raining 3's did in LSU in the second half! I was also surprised to see Flau'Jae not guarding Caitlin until it almost didn't matter anymore. She is the best player on the LSU squad and as slick as silk! LSU may have lost but Flau'Jae shined IMHO. And I am an Iowa grad. 🙂

HVL isn't as good as we thought. Granted, LSU is basically a .500 WNBA team(that's excellent), but HVL just can't seem to find a role. I'm not sure she's a pro. Probably a coach. Mulkey has her with her all the time. I think she was brought in as a floor coach.

Iowa Dominated the entire game for the most part accept when LSU came back from being behind In the first qtr. and took a short lived lead of about 8 pts or so. Iowa eventually caught even and took a tie into half time. Iowa took charge at the start of the second half. And didn’t look back. You could really see them run away when LSU started missing the 3’s that they were making in the first half. Second half made more mistakes …. LSU tired of running up and down the court. Lacked energy….not use to running Iowa was clearly the better team. Outclassed LSU., Iowa looked like race horses abdbKSU looked like pack mules. They were tired from the get go.

Iowa has a well rounded team …very capable of winning it all. Will have to change game plans. Like teams of the past …you live by long range scoring ,… you die by missing long range shooting. If CC if off shooting you’re dead. Need an alternative plan to score. Their team is well rounded. They can do it still if cc needs extra help.but cc needs to score at least 30 and play stellar defense
