I dont do a whole lot of drills... I just watch a lot of youtube videos on what i need to learn... Then i practice it step by step... Then i practice it with slow baseballs... then i work it up to the real deal. THan i binge watch, ''What you're doing wrong / what you're doing right.''

We got out and gave the hat drill a shot yesterday. I liked how I could see my son's face and eyes as he moved to the ball. He said it was awkward to have the hat in his mouth but he could tell it was forcing him to move and position himself correctly. I think it will be something to regularly incorporate into training and will become a great cue if I see improper technique when working in other situations. Thanks for helping me coach in a new and improved way.

Hey, so I have been playing shortstop all my life. Once the ball is 3 ft away from me, I take my eyes off of it. I do this naturally, but I have never let a ball pass me. Is this good or bad? Or do I have super powers?😂

You may have super powers!!! But, I recommend on trying to see the ball all the way into the glove. The longer you can see the ball, the more consistent you will be.

1: Face bent far down to the glove 2: Balance on the front of your feet (if you're doing it right) 3: If your glove is too far behind you rely on feel (Bad) that's what i got out of this video
