In this study, we witness the legendary showdown between David and Goliath, as well as David's growing renown and King Saul's growing insecurity. It seams to be another reaccurring theme Joseph was rejected by his brothers, David by his , & even Jesus by his own (Jewish) people for the most part yet we still today talk about these people 🤗

Thanks Pastor Skip! - David is such a great example of boldness and bravery - because God was on his side! We need to follow his example when facing our own "goliaths". That must have been quite a sight - short ruddy David walking around with Goliath's huge head in his hand! God bless!

Wear a helmet next time you go riding! It will save you from those bruises, and, if God wills it, your life.

Interesting what Saul failed to do was a precurser of what David will accomplish with Uzziah. How sad
My 7 year old son says "David is a Hunters Hunter"
It's kinda ironic how David tried the same with Bathtubs husband 🤔
The rapture is September eleven twenty twenty one.
Lev 20:13 clearly states that a man should not lie with a man, calling it an abomination worthy of death. If David had committed this sin, the LORD would have punished him, and probably a prophet would have spelled it out (as happened multiple times in David’s future).
