Been a Christian for a long time and was always discouraged when I read my bible cause I just never understood a lick of it, then I felt like God put it in my heart to just look on KZread and find someone, and BOOM- Found pasture skip and I've learned so much, Never thought I run into a day were I actually love to read my Bible. I can honestly say I can't function properly without daily study. Thanks so much ^_^

Thanks Pastor Skip - in talking about Hannah’s prayer to God, it reminded me of A.W. Tozer’s definition of worship. He said it is a deep feeling in the heart towards God - marked by a sense of humility, admiring awe, astonished wonder, and overwhelming love. It is the whole purpose behind His plan of redemption through the sacrifice of Christ. God doesn’t just want to save us from hell, but He saves us unto worship. It is the purpose for which He created us and in heaven we will worship Him in the beauty of holiness and enjoy Him forever. To all the lost sheep out there who wonder what the meaning of their life is - that is it. You were made by God in His image for the purpose of worshipping Him and in doing that you will find peace in your heart that fame, treasure, and pleasure can never satisfy. Anything less than God and the human heart cries out “ever I wanteth”. Things and people will never be enough to satisfy your soul because God created your soul such that only He can fill the emptiness.

One day I will drive from Nebraska to see you preach in person. Such a great teacher. What a blessing you have been in my walk with Christ.

Love Pastor Skips Teaching. I listen daily. Regarding his comment on "The Word of Faith" doctrine, he mentioned that if a believer is sick, it must be sin in their lives that has caused the sickness. Unfortunately, there are a few ignorant believers who hold to this false belief. Being raised in the Word of Faith movement and attending Rhema, Kenneth Hagin's Bible school, I can assure you this is not a teaching embraced by them. John 10:10, Jesus said, the thief cones to kill, steal.and destroy, but I am come that you may have life..." Acts 10:38, How God anointed Jesus of Nazereth with the Holy Ghost and power who went about doing good, health all those who were oppressed by the DEVIL. We are on the same page. We are the body. We needed each other...❤

Disease is not necessarily a result of your sin but it absolutely can be and that is borne out clearly in scripture. In fact if you read the law of Moses it makes that extremely clear.

I am blessed with 4 children. My Christian friend had 2 children by in-vitro. I always struggled with her choice but supported her. I notice that she struggles with being a mom. I wonder if she rushed things :)

I am the Grandmother of two in/vitro babies and several miscarriages. I struggled about infertility treatments too. My daughter went through hell. Then God graciously put my concerns to rest with our oldest granddaughter (2.5 years old) and I prayed accordingly for our grandson. His identical twin did not survive. God is the one who gives the breath. Genesis 2:7, KJV, tells us this: “Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Every inhale and exhale of breath is a gift from God. And all of us must breathe in order to live.

Just one thing animal fat is not bad for the heart or for the arteries. Animal fat is actually very important for development and health. Think about it... your brain is basically mostly fat. Man made fats that are heavily processed are actually bad and not fit for consumption.

Can you imagine choosing a politician over God? 🤣
