Stephanie R Girllllllll yes. When I watch a UCLA game, the announcers would pronounce Austin Matatia name so wrong. I probably spelled his name wrong but I can fricking pronounce it right.

lmfao during the lewis match i heard parapunova, parapumov and so much more shit. During ucla vs princeton they really said austin matautia as matuatua it killed me.

1:14:14 Wow I don’t think I’ve ever seen Rado deliberately tip a ball unless he was forced to, and he looked like he could have easily spiked it. He would be such a better player if he mixed in tips like he did here.

Well...nothing says yes to being creative. I feel like that should have been something about Rado that should have been in the fold during his time with the team.

Idk, I kinda like Brett better as the setter. The team seems to be much more in system and don’t have as many timing issues than when Jakob sets. I just hope he can start to be offensive at times and dump for some deception.

this did not age well.

It is interesting to me that college players miss many many services compare to national players. Like here, UC Irvine missed 7 services ONLY in the first set! it is almost 1/3 of whole set!

I FELT bad for Jakob thelle... He needs to set ... there's a lot of FLAWS on the setter's mind ... rado caught UNPREPARED many times with the setter.

Don’t feel bad for thelle. He’s a poor setter who’s more focused on showboating than actually making quality plays.

I think Jakob Thelle and Brett Sheward both have strengths and weaknesses. When Coach Wade was asked what he thought how Sheward did after the win over UCI, he said it was okay. Not great, not very well, not pretty good, not good....but okay. Perhaps he's not fully convinced yet.

In my opinion, it's Rado's fault for being unprepared for a set. After watching Jakob play full time this year, I don't think he has the potential to lead this team. His sets were not on point and you could tell he had trouble setting the middles. Now that doesn't mean Sheward is a far batter setter, but so far, Sheward's sets are more precise and he sets the middles much better than Jakob which we need because we wont get too far if we're purely a Rado and Colton show. Plus I feel that Sheward moves his sets around a little better. Jakob is still a great setter but I think Sheward is a better fit for the team but has a lot to learn still.

@@UHVolleyBallFanToo I see you have your own dvr . i am using spectrums dvr and the game is already recorded. I don't think i can get it off of the dvr. I was able to use my phone with a tripod and record the tv screen. Picture is good but sound is junk. I understand your setup, but do you know anyway to get it off of spectrums dvr. thanks for listening and keep up your good work.

@@UHVolleyBallFanToo Rado came back in for Thelle. Had Dimitrios' serve gone in on the next play, no setter again. Sheward came back in after Dimi's serve went out.

Sheward sets a faster offense. But Jakob serves much tougher and is a threat as a front row attacker. Love to see either one on the court.

Wøłf XD Because you’re the one who said it wasn’t a lot of spin and that the refs need to see or hear a double contact.

Shuy is a way better setter than thelle. He keeps it simple and back to basics, as opposed to trying to showboat and failing the way thelle does. Shuy needs to be the main setter from now on.
