Also, don’t apply grease to soaking wet hair. Only to damp hair. And only a small amount is needed. No need to weigh your hair down.

Yesterday I used only grease and water and when I tell y’all that my curls were so defined I literally cried🥹Aside from using mousse, no other products have done this to my hair and left it moisturized for weeks. Other products I use always dries my hair out quickly.

Yup...everything you taught me..worked. I remember you saying that I don't have to use conditioner after hair washed since Blue Magic is a hair scalp conditioner. I started following you I believe in 2019. And my hair is so thick and long and healthy just from following your regiment and I thank you so much. I slow down in 2020 for washing my hair cuz I was afraid of the covid-19 situation I didn't know if I was going to get a cold. But then I picked back up in 2021, when I was not doing the right thing in 2020 I experienced hair fall as I should have. And when I started picking back up towards the end my hair is nice and full thank you for your videos

For me I wash my hair once a week & seal it with blue magic generously. But when I remoisturize I use water & olive oil..maybe even a touch of leave in. My edges & nap respond well to blue magic at remoisturize time but my strands at remoisturize time needs a lighter touch & it works perfect for me.

I think that's pretty good because I actually started out with an undercut & longer on the top but once I cut the relaxed ends, like I stated it was at the brow & my undercut had to grow. I also trim but more dusting as needed now.

I'm all natural, I love grease for my hair the problem is I'm allergic to it 😥😥my eyes swell, and the pain is not good. The allergy just started in October, I stayed in denial for a while, but my eyes won. I have been using nothing but "Honest" shampoo and conditioner and believe this it been working because scented shampoos and conditioners caused the same eye swelling. But my daughter started using hair grease and swears by it. One day before I realized I could no longer use it and (I tried all types of products) my hair was looking so beautiful, full and the curls holding during a rainy day. Ladies if you need hold hair grease is the answer especially on humid days.

If you don't have a problem with silicones Sabino Moisture Block is another option to use in place of grease. It's just a mix of two silicones, cyclomethicone and dimethicone and nothing else. The stylist who formulated it made it to be a protective barrier around the strands to seal in essential moisture after washing and block out excess to prevent swelling. It essentially does what grease does and the creator of it suggests that afro textures wash every 2-3 days just like MM does. Anyway, I use the moisture block in place of grease because I can no longer stand the smell of most grease or the transfer onto my scarves, pillows, etc. even when I don't use a lot. The MB is completely odor free so I can smell fresh like my shampoo and conditioner and it doesn't transfer onto things. I get the same great moisture sealing affect that grease gives as well as loads of slip. Just another suggestion for you.

Have you considered trying plain, unscented petrolatum jelly (Vasaline), perhaps thinned out with just a little bit of plain mineral oil, as a substitute for commercial hair greases? The result is basically like a hair grease, only hypoallergenic, fragrance -free...and very economical, too! I personally love Blue Magic and Softee hair greases ,but I think that mixture may possibly help you achieve the same or similar results, with hopefully none of the allergic reactions. Hope this helps.
