I come from the UK and I think we have the best sirens and emergency vehicles in Europe, however, nothing can beat the American trucks and sirens, I could watch and listen to them forever! Almost makes me want to live in America :D Enjoyed that video, thanks.

Spain has some pretty good one in Europe.. it has also an "urban vibe" to it, as opposed to the ones in central Europe. But agree nothing like New York sirens.

I guess the sound will blow your brains out if a firetruck with alarm/horn is right next to you. But hearing that sound in the distance in NYC has something epic. A typical NYC 'thing'.

I drove Engine, Ladders, and Rescues as a Volunteer Firefighter for many years. I belonged to a combination Paid/Volunteer Fire Department in a small city in Upper, N.Y., and always wondered how emergency responders ever got to their call in NYC, or any other major Metropolitan area! Even in a small city we reached a the scene too late to do anything but save the exposures. I really admire the guys in the video an their counterparts.

I Do uber eats in the city and everytime i past by or near times square it make me proud to see tourist taking pictures of them

As the father of a F/F, and a retired f/f, and veteran. I SALUTE the NYFD, and NYPD. Special people in that city do what only other people can dream of, and complain about. Takes a SAINT to be patient while driving in the City that Never Sleeps. GOD BLESS.

The crazy thing is you rarely see a fire truck, police car, etc stop while it’s sirens are blaring but in New York you do quite often.

I've shed a tear 😢

Dont know how those guys do it, id go crazy driving in that mess, FDNY are fantastic.

Actually, it IS "New York City," as some of those companies are in the Bronx, Brooklyn (Coney Island), and either Queens or Staten Island (can't really tell).
