I've had this myself long ago... I was walking around a lake with my ex and she just went off on a tirade of very loud very animated statements, not even necessarily aimed at me, but virtue signalling her stance on a subject, I walked away, she followed continually spouting irrational, inflammatory, irrelevant rubbish, and continuing in the car, when we got to her place she said I'm not apologising, recognising an apology was expected, I didn't say a word .... I drove her home and never saw her again - that was after 2 months together... It was the first and last time she went off on me like that...

I'll be real, it's not even about being high value in terms of being in the top 5%, I'm in my early-mid 20s and I've always valued respect highly but now also time more than ever.
