this is exactly why a lot of cali coaches like Coach Negro been telling Cen10 to play more high profile out of state games. A good analogy is like Cen10 being in their prime of their life as a boxer but he's wasting him prime with these low level cans. Us cali guys know Cen10 can smoke SFA, IMG, Grayson, Hamilton, Gorman, etc. More views, more money, more sponsors, more drip, more young 5 star kids want to go to you, etc. Nothing but good stuff comes from playing these high profile games and winning. When SJB was the first national team to play out of state they were the most followed Cali team on Maxpreps. Then when Mater Dei went national they were the most followed on Maxpreps. Out of state folks are so disrespectful calling Cen10 "That random team that played Mater Dei close on a bad day" and Cen10 not even in the Top 25 in some polls I saw smh. Just watch when Cen10 beats St.France from Baltimore next season people will turn heads and respect them more. 14-15 MD and SJB both were afraid of Cen10, I know y'all must have forgot lol

@@onelove9232 Definitely disagreeing with that last sentence. First of all Mater dei beat centennial that year and lost the 2nd game by 3 points. Bosco only lost by a touchdown and they g players were injured then. Centennial never “clapped” Mater Dei or Bosco and it’ll be awhile before they even do

@@Goldengamer444 Don't know about Coach Logan but Servite, JSerra, Santa Magarita, De La Salle, Serra, Mission Viejo and these other Cali teams that despise MD and SJB for recruiting so hard just need to accept the fact SJB and MD opened the genie in the bottle already. We ain't ever going back to those 2009 days where we had a few out of county players play for the private schools. CIF basically said adapt or die to these programs and I agree. You don't see Nick Saban, Dabo, Ryan Day complain about the NIL deals they all adapted and used it to their benefit. These old school guys need to adapt or they will turn into a St. Paul or Long Beach Poly, dominant programs that are shells of what they were.

Servites going to be rebuilding big time next year. I read somewhere in an interview Servite's HC Troy Thomas would rather have a 5-5 season with young men he knows well and helped develop into warriors ready for life rather than a transfer factory of guys who he hardly knows. Those guys you saw at Servite, none of them are transfers. They’ve all been together since they were pop warner kids. They lose everybody. Literally everybody. And for you out of state guys wondering about their national matchups I wouldn’t bet on it. Servite doesn’t have any intentions of going national, their coach prefers 60 year old historic matchups with local Cali teams and doesn’t have a chip on his shoulder to prove Cali has the best ball like SJB or MD. They became who they are because their environment (Trinity League) was so brutal it demanded greatness out of them. You guys saw Orange Lutheran go 1-4 in the Trinity League yet they’re in the CIF D-2 finals right? What do you do when you have two kids in your class (Mater Dei/Bosco) who constantly bump the curve so high and they’re so above everyone else but you’re in the same class as them? Don’t complain and just work three times harder. That’s what Servite did. Their best one way DB is a senior guy with literally zero stars and one offer from Portland State. Unless of course...Servite changes and wants to be like MD and SJB

We all know these types of folks. Problem is, this type of mindset only gets you so far. Even Coach Rollo in 2010 knew this and called SJB's coach for advice on what the "young people" are doing. They don't understand that the game is constantly changing, evolving, it's dynamic, and these type of old school dudes get left in the dust complaining about why their email isn't working or they getting scammed by some Nigerian prince

What separates MD from the pack is depth. They've got two levels of lines on both sides of the ball and you can barely tell the difference from the first and second strings

@@marcvslicinivscrassvs7536 Also, the MD coaches are all great. Every top 20 team has great players and athletes, but it takes great coaches to get these young kids to the next level. MD has great coaches at every position as well as strength and conditioning, trainers, etc.. Pretty much a college coaching staff at the high school level. MD's current quarterback is only 16 years old, and he already looks like a Bryce Young clone as he's getting the same coaching Bryce Young received.

Love my Monarchs, but TMac and Noah are some stand up, solid dudes. Big respect and all the best at the next level!

The question is will TT & Servite be able to build on this season. TT being back could even out things in the Southland as a new player jockeys for recruits.

Norcal has talent lol. Raleek Brown, Tom Brady, Najee Harris, Maurice Jones Drew. If you remember back 2015 ish DLS would whip the Socal team with their tails tucked between their legs. Norcal is very strict on transfers.

The difference in this game was the RUNNING BACKS! Servite doesn't have a home run hitter when it comes to running the ball which makes them become extremely pass heavy. The more you pass on Mater Dei, the more you find yourself in 4th and long situations... Mater Dei has 3 running backs that will go the distance every time they touch the ball. That opens up play action and receiving opportunities for CJ Williams and Barkate..... Servite's next stop is establishing home run hitters in the back field... They have a passing attack, but they need to be able to run the ball with shifty backs that can go the distance. #CaliBall #WeTheBest

MD is ELITE man. They literally have no weakness. i mean they are beating really good teams every week. MD is battle tested, hard nosed, full of grit and skill. Crazy thing is Servite , Bosco, and centennial would wash 95% of teams in america yet can't put a dent on MD lol even though they play em mad tough. and thats not even me being a cali homer i'm not from cali. But all those teams are insane. If MD goes all the way they might be the greatest team of this past decade..atleast in the convo..gotta start talkin about it...

They do. Being that they are a private school they can. Public schools have stricter rules. I used to go out to local lineman competitions in the off-season when I played, and had a few buddies from there. Most had been recruited.
