Mater Dei basically guaranteed to be top 2 in the nation for at least the next decade. They've established themselves as a national brand and will continue to attract all the best talent from SoCal year in and year out. At this point, they're basically an all-star team and the only squad that can hang with them consistently is IMG.

They've been a top program since I was playing high school football in 1989 up in Northern California. I went to football camp at Cal with a QB from Mater Dei and he was highly recruited.

MaterDei clearly the best team in the nation. Called out Best team in Texas. No one stepped up but DVille. But they got destroyed. Ain’t no team going to defeat Mater Dei BUT Bosco 💯

Dville ain’t the best team in Texas but I think they’re the most talented. Without a doubt, MD is amazing. Probably IMG is the only one that can be on par with them.

Tell them to put IMG back on the schedule. California banned IMG from playing in California. Florida has not banned MD from playing in Florida. IMG will travel anywhere to play. You can't claim to be the best when you won't play the best.

They really weren’t able to completely stop their offense. Bosco got into the redzone or even the goal line a few times in the second half but couldn’t finish. It’s why I feel like Servite has a chance against them. They won’t be able to be stopped from scoring. Their qb and best receivers are better than Bosco’s

Bosco was able to get I think at least close to 200 passing yards in the second half they definitely got over 100. MD just locked them up when they got into the goal line. They won’t be able to do that against Servite. They won’t be able to lock them up at any time

@K Kwillthey stopped them from scoring which shows that their redzone d was great, but if I’m a defensive coach, I’m not going to think that was a perfect second half. My team couldn’t stop them from driving down the field. They were able to get the job done in the end, but we still couldn’t stop them from getting nearly 400 passing yards. If I’m Bosco’s coach I won’t be completely upset because we were able to move the ball but we just couldn’t finish. We don’t have to completely change what we do against them because what we did was working

my son's school played Colquitt a few years back. Cali school vista murrieta. pretty close game till the 4th. we rank ok. 20-3 few turn overs in the 4th or it would have been much closer. MD beat Vista by 30+. no way they stay close to MD or bosco. Colquitt was a great program though.
