Thanks Pastor Skip. As you point out, these chapters are an excellent illustration of how God is intimately involved in human affairs and ultimately in control of it. Then and now - which should give us reassurance in these troubling times - what some call the age of absurdity. It's incredible how God weaves together circumstances and human behavior and seemingly disparate events to accomplish His purposes. God is not asleep on His throne but working supernaturally in each of our lives "behind the scenes". God bless.

As I have aged, I thought I might take some time off from the responsibilities at church. At 70 now, I am one of the "middle aged" at my church. We do not retire from service to God. I am still teaching bible study and sure appreciate what I see and learn with pastor Skip. Thanks for your good example. I live in rural NM so I feel at home watching the many broadcasts you post.

Part1: Hebrews 8:1-13( The High Priest( Jesus😊1st❤ ) of a New Covenant) "8 The point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the majesty in heaven, 2 and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man. 3 Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. 4 If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already men who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. 5 they serve at a sanctuary that is copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to buile the tabernacle" See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain." 6 But the ministry Jesus( Jesus😊1st❤) has received is a superior to their as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promised."( Hebrews 8:1-6 Zondervan NIV Study Bible)

No Saul isn’t Solomon’s grandfather. But his dad king David was sauls son in law. David was married to Sauls daughter michal but Solomon’s mum is Bathsheba… so Saul isn’t his grandpa lol funny how complicated it is though. Pastor Skip May have forgotten that solomon isn’t the grandson even though David is the son in law so I get why he could have gotten this mixed up.

13:29 min marker actually, Esau married one of isamels daughters who was an Egyptian descendant, so was Hagar (I believe before she married Abraham she was a princess, none the less Egyptian.) This is prob why Pharo treated this person from edom so well/ family. All this Including Edom is important for end times. You will find in scripture edom represents Esau and how it all relates to what is to come in the last days. The edomites = Esau's descendents

Where does it say there’s a life change?? Repenting doesn’t automatically promise change other than salvation. Being born again actually brings a lot of trials and tests of our faith. Please teach that instead of making people question their faith for not having their life change automatically

2 Corinthians 5:17 I agree with you, there’s not always an immediate change in circumstances, and that is where the believer will persevere in faith, that he/she is in fact changed even tho their eyes may not see it. You’re right, new believers need encouragement in this area. ❤️

@AshJae / my reply to you Your comment is excellent, thank you. Over the years I have had the same question, honestly; I thought I was lacking something. No one ever put it like you just did. I still was steadfast to Our Lord having Faith. Most of all everything was hard and I would continue to Pray. Of cours there were times I truely felt the grace of the Holy Spirit and the Absolute Power of Jesus Christ. But Yes, there needs to be more understanding and discussion of this. Thanks

Hebrews 9:11-28( The blood of Christ( Jesus)) Hebrews 9:11-14 "11 When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not manmade, that is to say, not a part of this creation. 12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redeemption. 13The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean to santify them so that they are outwardly clean. 14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ( :) 1st love), who through the eternal Spirit offerred himself umblemished to God, cleansed our consciences from act that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God."( Hebrews 9:11-14 Zondervan NIV Study Bible)

When the Tribulation begins and you are not raptured, because Jesus says that the Elect get gathered after the Tribulation (Matthew 24:3-31), will you question your faith in the Lord? Read the Bible and take Jesus at His word. If your eschatology disagrees with what Jesus plainly taught, it is your eschatology that is wrong. Jesus teaches the same thing in Mark 13 and Luke 21. If Jesus' return was going to be a two part event, why wouldn't Jesus clearly teach that?
