Thank you brother Skip, a simple biblical reading accompanied by some explanation is just what the world is lacking from so many churches; book by book, verse by verse, with no nonsense in between, which disrupts the clarity of the Word as it was intended. The Calvary Chapel family of churches in the USA are the best presentations of God's word, and serve to "feed My sheep," just as Yeshua Messiah commanded Peter to do. It is written that in the last days that there would be a famine, not of food, but of the word of God. It is also written that "they will not endure sound doctrine, but that they will hire false teachers for themselves, because they have itching ears, and want them to be tickled. If I wanted to hear a pep talk I would go to an EST meeting instead of a church. Sadly, too many churches teach very shallow messages that are like giving milk to a baby, when what we need is meat, and other adult food. And not to remain metaphorical, the prophecies of the older testament have concealed meanings of the revealed precepts taught in the newer testament. We must study to show ourselves approved as workmen who need not be ashamed. I tell you what I think about Solomon. He was the wisest man who ever existed, until he went crazy and got incredibly greedy for goods, gold, silver and strange women. I personally believe that he actually wound up possessed by the multitudes of demon gods that each of the 700 wives and 300 concubines that he went into (in the biblical sense.) It seems to me that he is the human picture of Lucifer, who was created as the most glorious being under God Himself, and who having become obsessed by his own beauty, fell to the lowest position amongst all of God's created entities. What a foolish thing to do! I understand why king David prayed that God would not allow him to ever become so poor that he steals food to survive, nor that he would ever become so wealthy that he would forget the God who gave it all to him.

Thanks Pastor Skip. The one universal principle that Solomon ignored later in his life along with practically every other individual and nation in human history - starting with Adam and Eve - when you start going your own way instead of God's way, things eventually turn to "crap". And I`m no exception either - but for His grace. And how does one keep 1000 women happy anyways?!:)) My question to Solomon: are there other intelligent beings in the universe and do they also worship God? God bless.

I love your Bible teaching. Thank you for your ministry. P.S. Can we know more about MBS from Saudi❓️ You don't have to tell us how he answered that question, just tell us your impression of him. Many are saying he's the AC. They say he's the same age, he looks like Jesus (their basing that on pictures of course) for we don't know what Jesus looks like & that the Saudi's are about to do a Peace deal with Israel. We know when they say PEACE and SAFETY what happens ‼️

I do admire the irony of a Preacher with such skepticism of 🇺🇳 U.N. graciously accepting the Golden Ticket for a sit-down with the Crown 👑 Prince of 🇸🇦. Earthly Royalty remains fascinating 🧐 to nearly all who get near it and Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud is renowned to be quite the host.

Solomon sounds like the opposite of Ghenghis Khan in that Khan raided and achieved wealth through strength, Solomon through commerce and diplomacy

It used to bother me that Solomon was wisest man ever and knew the source of that wisdom - yet committed monumental boatloads of sin. Personally, believe Solomon rationalized his sin in his mind. (BTW multiplying horses and chariots was a sin per God’s command because they were the advanced weapons of war) and Israel was to rely on God - not advanced weapons.) Bothered by Solomon (even though he seemed to repent in Ecclesiastes) until I remembered Paul (Romans 7:15-20). If those two could succumb to temptation - why are we surprised at church scandals - from pastors and leaders. In fact, I had a dramatic salvation with plenty of confirmation and a few miracles thrown in - And I sin. Not as much as I used to as it is less frequent but still sin.

you on the right track ... Christ will not be coming from the sky ... he will be coming from the Root of David .. so keep leading the christian community to the throne and root of David and the Ark of the Convenant ... these are the physical foundations of christianity and we will be lost without it.. Since the times of the book of psalms it was written "Ethiopia shall stretch forth her hands unto God" ... the Kebra Negast explains how Ethiopia stretched forth her hands onto God .....at the time of King Solomon and David... But is much deeper than that -it goes back to the beginning of time: Ethiopia is the source of the nile and the birthplace of mankind... and extends to this present time: Haile Selassie is the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation .. so Keep on researching and: you will know that Ras Tafari was worthy to open the book ... when you see the Ethiopian Flag, you will see the Rainbow in the book of revelation when you see the change from Slavery, Colonization, World war 1 World war 2, ....to independence of small countries form Colonization, establishing of the UN, .... you will see the Spiritual warfare in the book of revelation.. In the 20th century, when you see the advances made by men from riding on horses to flying on planes, now AI tech, you wil see that all this knowledge was revealed because the spirit of God is here and it is undoubtedly the times of Revelation.. and there's so much more, i could go on for days.... But Just know brother Skip, if you truly have faith and trust in the word, in particular Revelation 5:5 ... you will know that Jah Rastafari Lives...

What are you talking about "Christ will be coming from the root of David"? He already came from the root of David, he was crucified and killed. Next time he will be coming from heaven. Also, the Ethiopian flag only has less than half the colors of the rainbow, 3 instead of 7.
