Kenneth talks very clearly from a non-dual place. He had an awakening during a Vipassana retreat many years ago.
He says, 'I had no idea about the world of the spiritual seeker and such terms as awakening, enlightenment and liberation. I remember describing it at the time as like a veil being lifted to reveal that what I had always been looking at was what I had always been looking for. I also remember saying that no experience I had ever had could come close to what happened. It was subsequently seen that it wasn't an experience and that it wasn't a happening as nothing in fact had happened. It was a loss, a loss of me and a seeing of life as it truly is; whole and boundless, complete, unconditional love.'

The term/concept "This is it." is helping me STOP worrying about the future, my laziness, inability to make decisions, fear of life & others, shyness, belligerence & hostility & many other things coming from a bad childhood. THIS IS IT brings me to "right here/right now" and allows me to just stop and be OK with what is here, in this moment.
Always such a delight to hear the character we call Kenneth. Lovely character!

Radically clear message!
I had a satori glimpse one afternoon at my desk at work. It was the most indescribably beautiful feeling of oneness. There was no self. Only warm blissful love. I was the experience. The experience was "me" I happened to be listening to some trance music which I believed had stopped the mind and allowed the "me" to diminish! Indescribable. I am currently chasing it back, which is creating frustration and suffering for the "me"

Very nice conversation! My apparent self has not recognized this(yet) I guess..but as Kenneth says..even understanding it can be a relief. And why do I keep on listening to this for years..John can I ask you..so the recognition on your side is there..did it change anything in your life? Do you "travel lighter" ?
its an interesting talk. I wonder if Kenneths' "sharing" is another way of being like the teachers which he seems to denigrate.

Sam Harris also talks about this lag in perception where the me claims the event or thought as its own. Sam mentions the research in his discussions on free will or the lack of it.
I don't get it. If there's no me here why would that be stunning?

The best way to hide something is to make it obviously clear....😂😂
If "I" cannot do anything, then how come when I spend a lot of time on the internet and start to feel tired and sick, I then go do a meditation or just close my eyes and go outside, I start to feel much better. 'I' chose to do something and then made 'myself' feel better no?
