Only if the points won because of the fault at the black ball (7 points) surpass the other player points. At the occasion, Shelby was with 54 points and made a fault. The other player won 7 points and tied the round, needing a respotted black.

At the time almost no-one reported what they were protesting, so they got very little advertising for their cause -- which was a good approach I thought. That way of promoting a cause would just get a backlash anyways, so everybody would be losing...

Whoever wrote the introduction to this compilation does not know snooker very well. How can John Higgins, making a double, when he is the best doubler in the world be a one in 1 trillion moment. Please stop using hyperbole just to get clicks. It’s bloody irritating. Somebody potting five reds at once would be a one in 1 trillion moment, most of the shots were simply flukes, bad miscalculations or just very good. Considering these things happen in every competition, they clearly aren’t one in 1 trillion. I do hope you actually know how big 1 trillion is.
