Rookie. Never fly with the guard on, there's air vents behind the gimbal that need airflow to keep the quad cool.

Take off the clear plastic camera guard before you fly!

You don’t have to go to a college course to learn how to fly a drone especially this drone it’s super easy to fly easy it pretty much flies for you if you want it to I learned by playing with a little indoor miniature mini drones those are harder to fly than the big ones my opinion

Force a take off using CSC.. basically hold the stick inwards..

I think I need Wi-Fi on my phone to be able to fly it to the Platinum

You can fly indoor just sett wifi mode.

👎🏻should have done a rehearsal flight to test for magnetic interference before teasing us with an in studio flight. 👎🏻

Can you release the drone on a sky-dive and have it circle you on the way down?

I know your comment was made 2 years ago. But I just want to clarify for people seeing this comment. DJI does use the FAA's maps for checking NFZ's however it's a different system than the standard more commonly used one and dji has their own geofencing authorization system separate from the FAA. What this means is when you want to fly in restricted air space you need to get authorization from the FAA AND DJI because they do not communicate with eachother.

If you know all about this stuff then why would you fly with clear cover

You should have checked it before you made the video

It pains me to watch this. Gimble cover still on. Its probably saying gimble overload and please open the props it's less stress on the motors. Do your homework guys.

Gimbal cover is ok to fly with... It's the clamp you really need to remove. Though the cover doesn't have a lot of airflow into the cooling fan of the Mavic Pro.. sooo do at your own risk...
